Just for today 1/5
1. Do a challenge workout from the streaming workout service I subscribe to.
2. Limit my soda intake.
3. Join a Twitter chat about healthy lifestyles.0 -
Just for Today 1/5/2015:
1. I will eat mindfully and choose healthy choices in my meals.
2. I will think on how I can achieve my goals, one day at a time.
3. Be kind to myself - I don't need perfection, just to keep improving and moving forward.0 -
1. Minimum of 20 minutes exercise today
2. Allow only healthy foods to be eaten today, watching portion sizes.
3. Positive thoughts that I can do this!
4. Last, but should be first, Prayer!0 -

im in!! just for today I will exercise.....I will NOT sneak a bite of chocolate chip cookie as a "reward" for staying within my daily cal limit lol. I know that defeats the purpose of cal limits, but its what I've been doing0

Good morning! I was wondering how the just for today was working for everyone? I'm loving it and when things got rough at work yesterday and I really wanted pizza I was able to tell myself "just for today." I've also found that deciding what I'm going to do instead i.e. eating the lunch I had brought from home INSTEAD of pizza helps me too.
With that being said, Just For Today
Log my food
Get my run in
10-15 min of yoga

Count me in, too. I need some extra support and taking it day-by-day seems like a good way to start.

2. I will eat only what I planned to eat today and already entered in my diary.

Yesterday my goals were to:
The only "sweet" I will have is the one cupcake left with my name on it in our house!
I will drink 100+ oz of water
I didn't get all of my water in, but I was satisfied with the first goal!

1. Not have the leftover icing in the freezer

Well, I got all three in that I set for today, even talked to principal at school about setting up the Faculty health group and she loved the idea. I got my full 8 glasses of water today with my new 'carry water with me' as I am use to my well water and hate drinking the school or even bottled water. haha.... So, tomorrow my goals.....
1. Listen daily to the meditation video I found on youtube.
2. Keep up on my daily logging of my food, exercise and bp.
3. Start setting up some sort of system for our faculty health group.....have to think of a Name for our group......we are a bunch of educators......our school mascot is Bronco.....any ideas???0 -

Today, I was able to see my doctor about my voice, he said JUST was caused by allergies, yay! I kind of figured that!

yesterday I ended up eating a bigger portion of meal... ... binging is my weakness....though I have cut down on unhealthy foods, carbo are really my cravings. I just cannot control the portion on rice . I have to eat less carbo....I have to eat less carbo...I have to...will be my mantra for the day.
Just for today:6/1/15:
1) control on rice quantity
2) eating healthy
3) 30 min walk
4) staying active, avoiding the couch
5) avoiding being alone ....alone leads to me binging or being a couch potato ....
6) try to include some exercise ....

Past:
- Still doing great on not eating at night <-- my worst problem
- doing great with my macros: focused on protein.
For today:
- not eat at night
- focus on macros and smaller portions (don't eat too much of the homemade pork fried rice)
- have fun at Zumba!!!

Had some ups and downs, including stepping on the scale before weigh in date, but I was down 2.5 lbs from Jan 1. So remotivated to keep just plugging away each day. For today: 1) I will drink my water and eat only what I brought for lunch and snacks and recorded
2) I will stay under calories and remember to close out my diary at night
3) I will get on the treadmill while catching up on Once Upon a Time on Netflix...

Have had 6 cups of water.....counting unsweet tea.Can't walk today,snow & ice out there.
Tracking food every day.
One tip that helps me is the final tracking food of the day ,means kitchen is closed.

Yesterday, 1/5/15
1. Log every bite I eat!
2. DRINK MORE WATER
3. 20 minutes minimum on ellipitical DONE! And this is in a patio room where the temps this morning was 23.6 degrees!! Better than outside though, where temps are 14 degrees!
4. Chew gum in the evening instead of grabbing some snack Got into the popcorn again! Have to get out the chewing gum, and close the kitchen!
Just for today, 1/6
1. NO SODA TODAY!! This will be hard, but I am really going to work on stopping the diet soda.
2. Drink MORE water! I already have drank 4 glasses! Off to a better start
3. Log Every bit that I eat
4. Attempt to do at least 20 minutes on the ellipitical! Our unheated patio room is cold where I keep our ellipitical, but while getting dinner ready tonite, need to get out there!!
5. Do not get discouraged! The weight did not come on overnite, it won't come off overnite. Persistence!
