Actually just weighed myself. I am 170 6'1 but can BARELY fit into 34 relaxed fit. Guess my BF% is high. Oh well I have made progress in terms of lbs lost, but none in terms of pant size.

Time to hit the heavy weights and keep a moderate deficit (aim for 0.5lbs/week) while getting adequate protein (135+ grams/day) that way most of what you lose will be fat.

    I'm 6ft 168lbs, 44 years old - I think I'm more like a 31 now, but fit in 32s around 175

I'm 5'10" and back when I was managing my weight through diet alone (no exercise really aside from light cardio, such as going for walks) I was consistently going down about 1 waist size (38 to 36, 36 to 34, etc) for every roughly 20 lbs or so. When I began adding strength training to my regimen that threw everything off, however, and there was no longer any consistent correlation between sizing + weight.

My hubby is 5'11 and 180 and is wearing a 32" waist. According to the calipers, his body fat is 10% and he's 49 years old.

Title says it all, just curious. Yes I know it will be different for everybody again just wondering. Thanks.

I am 5'7". At around 175lbs I think is when I needed to wear 32".

Mostly I was around 30" though when I was under 170.

At 145 right now and buy 28" or 29" depending on brand.

Edit: My actual waist measurement is 30.5"

6'0", 161lbs and I'm in 32" Pierre Cardin dress pants today. I get a similar fit ftom Old Navy jeans in 28" and Dockers in 30". My best pair of pants has a 34" waist and has the same fit as all of the above. That number on your pants looks like it says "inches", but get out the measuring tape and you'll be surprised.

On behalf of my male counterpart, he wore 32s at 6'0 and 170-175 lbs.

This sounds right. My husband is 6' and around 180 right now and wears 33's. His only extra weight is around his waist.

I've noticed long before that my weight correspondent with my waistline. Every kg I lost equals to 1 cm lower waistline. What about you guys?
