That happened to me in high school when my best friend's boyfriend didn't want her talking to me anymore. She "broke up with me" with a note in the lunch room. Really hurt. We're friends again and have been for over 10 years, but we arn't as close as we were before that.0 -
16 He was 14. Summer romance and we talked every night until November. Then he was out and didn't every call me back. Broke my heart. He started dating (and subsequently married) a girl in university. I couldn't compete with that much of an older woman!0

I've never been dumped, but the first time that I... cordially parted ways with someone that I was dating was when I was 17 y/o. I was quickly (2 months later) in another relationship with a different man. The relationship was off and on, but I officially called it off when I was 19. I've been, luckily, single, by choice, ever since (21y/o). I'm just too young to be wasting time playing games.0

Maybe I shouldn't be reading this if I'm in a relationship now0

There were just friendly this-isnt-going-anywhere breakups. No one got dumped. Got married a long time now and she's stuck with me.
Never dumped, but only ever had two relationships. I had one of those mutual break-ups you described at 25. Then I got married a couple years later and lived happily ever after.

some harsh stories there
my 1st g/f was called Tracey, when she met the dog walking guy she didn't even tell me I was dumped, I found out through my sister, that hurt0 -
I've never been dumped. But I did dump my high school b/f when we went to different colleges. I tried not to like the gorgeous sophomore down the hall... But he was dumped before Thanksgiving break.0

18 after six months. I was sad, but I got over it.0

I was 25 for the first one that really freaking HURT! We had been together a year and a half. He totally broke my heart. I had a rebound relationship and eventually got over it but it took a long time.0

I was 16, he was 19. We dated for 5 or 6 months and I was in totally head over heals in LOVE!!! One Sunday at church, I was upset because he didn't call me all weekend. He got up and walked away from me and that was it, it was over; no explanation, no apology, no goodbye. He acted like I didn't exist. I was devastated and cried over him for 4 years...pathetic, I know. Eight years later we got back together for 3 months, long distance, but I realized he was the one for me and I got the closure I needed.0

one of my daughter's told me that her boyfriend had dumped her, what upset her her that he'd got it in before she did so she was trying to get back with him so that she could dump him! young love can really mess with our heads0

I was 17 it lasted 9 months. He dumped me because "we didn't know each other and we weren't getting to know each other we were just going out to have fun" sounded like a sad excuse to me. A week later he had a new GF who was better looking and smaller than myself0

@baconboobies Sad
I've always been the "dumper". I feel bad for that but why continue on with someone that isn't going to last? I am proud to say that all my ex gf's were a better person than when I first met them, except for the small handful of crazies0 -
@TrailBlazerMN it happens haha. I was a dumb teenage girl.
Forgot to add, he did the whole didn't actually break up with me, just stopped talking to me, then made out with my best friend a week later. Hahaha.0 -
@baconboobies Now that's cold. I've never done anything like that. I would of at least offered my best friend to you so everyone could make out with someone0

@TrailBlazerMN Eh I've made out with his best friend since then. actually his best friend is one of my really good friends now... Which is weird considering we used to hate each other.
