Even though I've lost weight almost every week, have logged my food diligently all week and my clothes are not tighter and it is okay if I don't lose every week I am still scared to step on the scale. Every week I grit my teeth and close my eyes as I step on it. I also always weigh myself about 3 times in a row to be sure.
Speaking of getting things off my chest- one of my breasts seems to be shrinking faster than the other one as I lose weight.10 -

Lol sadly no, it seemed to do the trick, but I FELT disgusting afterwards. Though it's kind of funny now.2 -

I weigh myself daily but don't log it, I accept the fluctuations and usually know why (no poop, too much sodium) but I hate seeing in on my little graph thing.7

Not a judgement but why didn't you just make the hot chocolate? Not sweet enough?

It's pretty good, like crunchy powdery chocolate. No shame in my game, of course.

I stopped buying snacky foods to try and curb my 7 to 10 pm "grazing". Last night I mowed down a plate of cheese and crackers.

I did this also - I ate a sachet of Options hot chocolate - Fudge flavour - I don't think I will do it again lol. Just the thought makes me uggghhhh!

I purposefully design all my meals so I can eat large portions for little calories. Despite losing a bajillion pounds, and maintaining the loss, I still need QUANITITY to feel full.
My guests are aghast when they see my big ol' jethro portions. (ie- huge bowls of air popped popcorn, 2 or 3 potatoes with my dinner, mountains of salad... etc)
Also, sometimes, when I am stressed, I still binge eat. Its very comforting to overeat, like wrapping up in a warm blanket.
Each binge session gets farther and farther apart, and I can usually somewhat balance the week to prevent weight gain. Its pretty infrequent now, but still happens sometimes.

I only weigh myself after a gym workout, sans clothes. There are still fluctuations but It feels nice to get all the extra fluid out.4

Sometimes, I eat in bed and don't even remember. I wake up in the morning wondering why I'm not hungry, and then, I'm sad when I remember.

The days I don't finish logging or don't log at all are the days I drink 4+ alcoholic drinks. I need to log those days to acknowledge the caloric reality of it. And I just need to quit drinking so damn much.13

When I started this, I was diagnosed with insulin resistance. I was on Metformin for months. I've successfully reversed my insulin resistance, but I've been too scared to come off the Metformin - I think I convinced myself that it was the only reason I've successfully lost the 69 pounds - that I'm incapable of doing it on my own.
I did stop, as of Wednesday. I still scared12 -

I buy those 12oz mixed veggies bags and just eat the whole thing as a side, often with grated parmesan sprinkled on top. I eat mashed cauliflower one pound at a time. Yep, I need quantity too.
I still binge typically once a week, and eat at a bigger deficit the rest of the time to make up for it - pretty much maintained since June because of that (when I'm still trying to lose 3 pounds). I was actually one pound lighter in June. My last binge was 1000 calories of Girl Scout cookies on Thursday (and I only had 400 calories left for the day).
I'm still in denial that I can eat things in moderation. I typically last a week or so, then hormones kick in and it's over and I pretty much raid all the ice cream and cookies. Still bought ice cream today. I just don't learn.
I do wash my clothes after my workouts but will often just workout in PJs or even in underwear (both of which pretty much sucks for high impact stuff when I have no bra on).
I have the bouncy loose skin issue when I run too...3 -
I lost my first 30 pounds (before I was tracking on MFP) by manually counting my calories and spending many days hardly eating all day just so I could have multiple servings of ice cream for dessert.4

Just before my period, I get huge cravings for really bad-for-me food... This week, in 2 days I ate a whole package of Oreos. (But I had them with skim milk! Does that help at all?)
I really wish menopause would happen soon. (No chance; it's probably at least another 5 years away.)
The rest of the month, I can take it or leave it. Actually, the bra gets hand-washed once a week. The shorts & shirt, in the laundry maybe every other week. And I was just given a second pair of shorts that fit, so maybe they'll only go for a week from now on!0 -

I change socks and underwear, and have shirts that I alternate. I air out my sports bra and the other shirt. Gross here too.

When I first started tracking I bought a scale at Walmart (because I was there) and kept getting an E reading. Found out I was too fat for the scale. I returned it the next day and when my (annoyed) fiancé asked why I was dragging him back to Walmart, I said that the scale gave me five different readings, so it must be broken.9

I weigh out veggies like sweet potatoes at the grocery store on my food scale, yes I bring it with me. It's a flat black smooth one and looks like an iPad from a distance. It any of the sweet potatoes weigh more than 200 grams I won't buy it. So some weeks, I don't get them, because none are in the magic gram weight. I also buy loose onions and bell peppers on a similar weight method. Again some weeks, there aren't any in that weight.
I only buy my International Delight coffee creamer in the single serving mini containers like you get at restaurants. That way I know exactly how much creamer is in my coffee every morning.
I have counted the pieces of popcorn I have eaten.
All meat for myself is weighed out of the big package, vacuum sealed with date, weight, and either put in the fridge or freezer.
Packages of cheese are brought home and cut immediately into 1 ounce slices and vacuum sealed and returned to the fridge.
Lunches for the week are done on Sunday. Monday, Wednesday and Friday I usually do mixed veggies 300 grams frozen weight to be microwaved. Tuesday and Thursday are Broccoli days and that is 400 grams of frozen weight to be microwaved.
Boxes of Cereal if they are mine, get pre portioned out to 42 gram Ziploc baggies. I'm the only one who will drink 2% milk. So the half gallon gets weighed out into 8 ounce containers and returned to the fridge in their little reusable thermos containers.
When I make biscuits, I weigh the flour out and do not use a measuring cup. Any flour used for kneading that is left gets scraped up and weighed to subtract from the recipe.
I have made hamburgers for a party and weighed each patty, and thrown away what would not divide evenly into the calculated weight of the others.
I can actually nail the number of servings a peanut butter container has in it by the label to perfect accuracy. I weigh it out too.
I actually own 4 food scales, 1 that travels, 1 at the office and 2 in the kitchen. Their batteries are changed the 1st day of every month whether they need it or not. They are also all the same brand and identical. I'm a lab tech and have used the calibrated weights to check their accuracy, they are in acceptable range. I do this often.
Shall I continue. I have developed a lot of quirks over my 900+ logging days here.

I've gotten into that spot a couple of times recently. The first time, I ate two jars of apple butter. Second time, a jar of strawberry-rhubarb jam.2 -

Wow! I wish i had you at home with me. I actually like the idea to bring the scale to the store. And i am aiming to soon start premeasuring and vac sealing once a week for easier prep. You, my friend, are my type of compulsive. My goal is to be a little more like that.5 -
add me to the gross club, i only have 2 sports bras - one isnt as supportive and i use it for my walk/baby jog (every day), the other is more supportive and used for zumba and the gym (combined 4 times a week). They get washed once, maybe twice a week (but really, once is more common)
if i eat something that will put me too far over my calorie goals, ill save it and add it to the next day.
i dont always log the diet sodas i drink. (but the reg calorie ones i do). dont ask me why, i dont know LOL
i dont sweat much. maybe that makes me weird. the small of my back is about the only place i sweat.
