I lost 28lb. It took me a year. I haven't gained it back and I lost 2 additional sizes in the year following from becoming more active. (well, way more active)

Hi all, well done everyone. Mine seems quite feeble compared to the achievements here but I am 38lb lost since June 14. Today I joined the 11 stones club and that has made me smile.

24 lbs down since 1 May 2014 ("before", "during", and current pics in my profile). Hit my highest weight (outside of pregnancy) at 161lbs. I'm now down to 137lbs (5'6"). Working on shedding just a couple more lbs of fat, gaining strength/retaining muscle, and being the most fit version of my self I can be.

I'm a SLOOOW loser (by choice, I don't "do" well with aggressive calorie restriction), but I've done well to stay the course and make modest changes for my health and fitness that I can sustain for a lifetime.

That, and I just bought a new wardrobe that includes several pairs of amazing looking size 4 (US) jeans, trousers, and size small blouses. I'm NOT buying bigger clothes ever again (clothing is NOT cheap, lol ;) ).

I've lost 100 lbs, put on 27 lbs, and down 99 lbs now...so almost back to 100 lbs. I have 39 lbs to go. It took me two years for the 100 lbs and in 8 months I put on the 27 lbs (I stopped using the myfitnesspal), and six months to lose the 26 lbs. Hopeful I lose the 39 lbs in 6 months or close since I will be 51 years old! I have just always changed it up some way and I'm eating organic.

I have started mid-december and I have lost 17.2lbs so far :D I have 36.6lbs to go! This is the baby weight that I am trying to lose. I would like to reach my goal weight by May 31st, for my daughter's first birthday. This is a 6 months time frame so I think it is doable.

I have done it mostly by eating healthier and using better portion control. I did cut out carbs and sugar at first, which helped kick-start my weight loss and curb cravings. I have recently started working out since I now have the energy to do so, as I eat way better then I used to and I have lost a good amount of weight already. I do some bodyweight exercises and I also have a pair of 10lbs dumbbells. Before I got the dumbbells, I used a huge detergent bottle. ;D *making it work!*

I also have stopped drinking pop and coffee (Tim Horton's large double double has 300cals and almost 40g of sugar). Now I drink only water and tea, and occasionally a coffee I make myself at home (62cals and 8g of sugar).

    My stats:

    Height: 5'5''
    SW: 182.8lbs and 48%bf
    CW: 165.6lbs and 38%bf
    GW: 130lbs and 20%bf (pre-pregnancy stats)

I've lost 67 pounds since Jan 2014. This year I want to finish off my weight loss by losing 20-30 pounds. That should put me where I should be, since my goal is to get off a lot of my excess stomach and thigh fat. I've gone from a couch potato to a woman who loves exercising outdoors even in the winter. I even do night hiking, with my husband or with a group of people.
