Hubs was introducing me to one of his friends and told him I was a runner. Me! A Runner! Last year it would have been - she likes to read a lot.13

"its" gotten bigger1 -
Great question.. ! So, when I used to sit, my butt didn't hurt and now it does! My calves... hubs said they were smaller the other day! Climbing ladder at work..afraid of what others would say never mind the fear of an obese women falling. Now I can climb and I actaully am not afraid. Clipping my toe nails while breathing! lol sad but true. Crossing my legs like a women. My brain has not caught up to the losses yet. I still struggle day to day on what has changed when I look in the mirror. This was a good question to make me stop and realize, maybe I did do something positive!1

I found an old belt I used to wear with jeans, only a medium but I wear a small now in the same brand, this morning to replace one on my coat that's got lost. I thought it would be OK because I really didn't think I'd lost that much around my waist and it'd be over all my clothes and around a big thick coat - it was several inches too big, and even round all that material, when I put the belt on the worn notch where I used to wear it, it must've been over ten inches too big! And there was me moaning that my belly hadn't shrunk! A good start to today (but I've still got a bit of belly to get rid of - I'm not letting myself off that easily!)3 -
My chin is a "chin"..not another round facial object..lol...17 lbs down..33 to go6

Newest ones for me ...
I remember now WHY kids run and play so often - because it's FUN and feels good! Yesterday, I was pushing a cart full of stuff from the store back to my car, and had a sudden urge to RUN while pushing the cart... So I did. It just felt fantastic that I CAN, and it didn't HURT, and when I got to the car, though I felt maybe a little silly to be a 40something year old man running across the Costco parking lot with a grocery cart full of stuff, I was grinning from ear to ear... Three months ago, If that thought had crossed my mind, it would have quickly been followed with "Better not.. my knee will hurt, I'll be sweaty and out of breath and I'll feel horrible for the rest of the day."
I just feel *better*.
Every day tasks are easier.
I have more focus.
I wake up feeling more refreshed.
I fall asleep easier.
I am happier.

Lol Me too! I was like, jeez, is this really supposed to be this difficult???
Same here. I literally cannot successfully shave my arm pits in the shower anymore. I guess people who were always thin figured it out so I will too.
I'm just starting my journey, and the armpit thing is, weirdly, something I think about EVERY time I shave. I have for years. I don't know why I have this weird obsession with having "thin girl" armpits, but I can't wait for that to happen to me!1 -
I also agree with the mind catch up issue. Does it ever catch up? I love to see my neck line. For so long I couldn't. My hands, I love to see the veins. The ability to shop in a "regular" store. I also can just sit in a booth in a restaurant and not worry so much about pushing the table back to make space. God is good!7

I never realised just how threatened one of my friends would be about my weight loss. I saw her for the first time in months this weekend and she wouldn't stop talking about it and I got to the point where I just didn't know what to say any more.4

I LOVE this thread!!! There are so many things to love about living a healthy & transformed life.
So far, for me, it's starting to see my collar bones. I love it.
Also, still reaching for a 2-3x when I need a XL or even Large which I never remember being in anything less than XL. Been in 2X for many years!0 -

This. There is a person in my life who gets meaner/more passive aggressive with every pound I lose. I thinks she's used to being "the skinny one" and feels threatened. Any time someone mentions my weight loss/how I look really fit in her presence she starts talking over them about how she's sore from doing P90X or something. She brings up her clothing sizes all the time because she knows I can't possibly be a size 2 (she's 5'8, I'm 5'11). Some people just suck.4 -
I realize this is somewhat silly, but my shadow is different LOL......I used to see a round ball when I looked down at my shadow, now I am seeing a fitter person20

I haven't lost much yet but it's amazing how great and happy I feel from exercising and eating healthy. When I ate like crap I literally felt like crap.3

That after losing 66 pounds, I still don't look differently to people I haven't seen in awhile. That or they don't say anything.
Oh, and while I look noticeably smaller, the measurement around my stomach remains in the same.
Hmm, are those collar bones?1 -

I had this revaluation this weekend. My wardrobe has so many colourful clothes in it now. Last year it was full on dull colours.0 -

I can't believe that!!! Your stomach looks SO much smaller in your picture.0 -
I had a new one today. I had to move the car seat closer. The pedals were just a little too far away with less rear end to push me up in the seat.1

Not sure why people aren't commenting on your weight loss. They've got to see it. You look great! I think sometimes people are unsure of what to say because they may worry that you've been ill. Also, some people feel uncomfortable because of their own weight issues.
I'm really surprised that your waist measurement is the same because it looks significantly smaller. I'm wondering if your changing shape has resulted in you taking your 'waist' measurement at a different point on your torso. How has your fit in pants changed?

AHA! I thought I was losing my mind, or that my legs had shrunk.0 -

No possible way they don't notice. Come on, look at you! I know of a couple people in my area who have lost weight using Weight Watchers and others have mentioned that that person got gastric bypass surgery and they didn't want to mention it because they didn't know if they should talk about it. So... not saying this is why, just saying you never know about people and what they are thinking.
You look wonderful!

I love this tread!!!
- Being more aware of what my body shape actually is hidden under the flub
- Enjoying wearing different cloths
- Thigh still slightly rubbing together but not near as bad
- Legs looking much better in shorts or skirts
- Being about to exercise and push myself more and more3 -
I posted a little while back, but another there is another result od weight loss that I didn't realize until very recently.
I'm not afraid of the mirror anymore! When I was 60 pounds heavier, I'd only use a mirror to look at very select parts of my body (My chin when I shaved, my hair, etc) but I never, never, never stepped back and took a look at the "whole me". But now, I'm not self conscious, and I don't play these little tricks to fool myself.
Plus, oh man. I like clothes. I never liked clothes, never liked shopping for them, never liked trying them on. I sure do now!0
