MFP has my calories at 1200, but I try to stay just under that (so it doesn't yell at me and say I'm not eating enough0 -
It didn't post my whole reply! Grrrrr...
I also don't eat the calories back that I burn off.
I got a gym membership in mid February and try to go at least 5-6 days a week. I mostly use the treadmill for an hour, steadily increasing the incline as much as possible, where I can still keep it up for the whole hour. Then, 1-2 days a week, I throw in a bit of strength training as well. I tend to do a lot more strength if one of my teenage boys go with me. They like to push me. Its a good thing.0 -

Hi everyone.
Im in I need the motivation.
My daughter is 3months old and I am breastfeeding finding it difficult to get the balance right.
I would like to lose 5lbs in April. Im 27 5'2 and 132lbs MFP gaves me 1200cals a day I add 300 for bf.
I am trying to get back into exercise started bums and tums and hopefully starting with a running group end of April.

I would like to remind everyone that the key to weight loss is CALORIE DEFICIT!!!
Make sure you track all you eat onto my fitness pal and that you eat under the recommend amount If you continue to do this, you should be able to lose two pounds a week!!!

Me too! Just getting going again (Day 2). I will be eating 1300 calories a day and hiking as much as I can, hopefully 6 days a week! 5'2", 119 lbs, need to be 112, 110 would be even better. Tired of being between pants sizes and want to settle into the lower one! Good luck everybody!0

Had a shock to the system when I was weighed at the doctor's office on Monday. I had been a regular at MFP in the past but not recently. I am now at the heaviest I have ever been and will ever be. I will not go back here again! I got rid of my clothing for this size the last time I lost weight and don't want a wardrobe for this size again!
5 lbs is my goal for the month. 10 would be AMAZING but I don't know that I have ever lost more than 6 lbs in a month. 3 lbs is the norm for me in the past. I have 40 lbs to lose. (Cannot believe I am saying that... mainly because I cannot believe I got back to this point!)

I try to stay a bit under or around 1,500.
