No struggles, no successes. Just knowledge that I need to be eating less and moving more, and logging every day. Had a vegetarian sushi making night with friends last night (which I'm still digesting, the food was sooo good!), and haven't been drinking nearly enough water this whole month, so now that I'm getting my butt in gear I'm sure the weight gained will come off quickly. Hopefully I can check in next week with better numbers0 -

Successes this week: Hit my March weight loss goal! Down to 159. February was tough for me but March has felt great. I am loving how I look and have also been rewarded by the scale.
Struggles this week: My work out struggles remain, but I haven't fallen off the wagon. I'm looking forward to warmer weather when I can walk more regularly. I have decided to abandon the TurboFire schedule, and I am just doing the videos I am in the mood for. I've also switched to 5 days a week from the 6 day a week schedule. Much more manageable for me, so I hope this will help me stay on track.0 -

Struggles this week: I don't deserve to have lost any weight this month as I over ate and knew I was doing so. Even so I did stick to my exercise plan pretty much, so it was just the diet that suffered. With any luck I'll drop the last pound in the next couple of days and then I can start again for April.

Struggles/successes this week:
Have been home sick this entire week. (Literally: I just left my house last night for the first time since a dog walk last Monday morning.)
I didn't get many steps in, and I am still feeling weak, and achy and congested.
On the upside, I logged as carefully as ever - though, with the hubby out of town, there were some times I was at my kids' mercy! The fresh fruit and veg are almost gone, so I will need to go to the market as soon as I am up to it (a couple more days, I suspect).
Looking forward to getting out there in the sunshine and racking up my mileage!

With my Sons 3rd birthday this week and lots of food and birthday celebrations I haven't been logging my food much, if at all this past week. Nevertheless still made a small loss. Here's one final push to getting to my target for this month.
Have been feeling very run down and seem to be constantly catching colds and feeling generally pants... maybe a trip to the docs or will they just tell me that it's all part of being mum to two kids 3 and under!0 -

Struggles this week: Sickness. I went into the hospital for gastritis on Friday Night/Saturday morning. SOOOOO not fun. So all day Saturday and even most of Sunday I was recovering from that and the meds. (I hate morphine). THEN I ended up getting an ear infection yesterday which woke me up at 1 am on Monday. So the past several days I've been having my sleep interrupted by pain which just sucks.
Success: I've made it through this week? Actually I've done pretty well as far as not over doing it on the calories, especially yesterday when all I wanted was pudding and ice cream. I've also found out that I can definitely handle yogurt and hard cheeses as long as they're certified gluten free/ inulin free! Happy dances all around. Still figuring out if I'm just super allergic to wheat or if I've got an issue with fructans.
To sum up my month: I'm pretty sure I'm not going to drop 2 kgs by tomorrow, unless I amputate something which I'd just rather not do. But still 2 kgs down is a pretty big loss for this month, especially because I maintained 99.3 for 8 months back in 2011. It's nice to see me going under that. It's even nicer that this time around I'm so much healthier (mentally and physically) and the loss feels natural instead of forced and sickly. And when added up, seriously, I've lost dang near 20 % of my original goal. That makes me pretty happy.
Anyway, my immediate goals are to be about 90 kgs for my SIL wedding in May (7 weeks), a size 14 by my wedding anniversary (8 weeks), and very close to/meeting 86.7 (lowest I've been since 14- very excited) by my birthday (10.5 weeks)-so Onward and er downward. 1 kg a week may be pushing it but I know I can get pretty dang close if I get my butt into gear and I will be happy if I get halfway there by those dates. I've been a bit lazy this month with exercise goes so that's definitely going to have to change and I'm going to get back into my daily routine of PT exercises (which I've honestly not done in a month!). I felt much better doing them everyday so I'm sick of being lazy.0 -

Successes/struggles this week: So I missed some check-in weeks due to travel, but I've hit my March goal! It wasn't looking like I would, but I've finally come down from 137 to hit 135. At this point, with the last 10-15 pounds, slow and steady will win the race for me.
I had some big successes over the month. I traveled back home for spring break and I did great. I ate within my limit but also allowed myself to splurge a bit when we went out to a nice dinner. I still made healthy choices but I allowed myself to go over in calories (and ONLY for that meal). I also was sick this past week and allowed myself to eat at maintenance because I was hungry (this was always hard for me to do). Then I went to a wedding this past weekend and made great choices at dinner (foregoing bread, fried stuff, etc) and let myself have a delicious cookie. I also tasted the cake and a s'mores bar, but I didn't need to eat the whole thing, I just ate two or three bites to sample since I was full by then. This was huge because normally I would have just eaten all of everything lol.
No big struggles. I am getting closer to my ultimate goal weight so I want to keep losing but I expect things to slow down and I no longer feel an urgency to be at a healthy weight, because I already am. For vanity reasons I want to lose another 10-15.0
