    Hey Elizabeth!

    Thank you for setting this up. I was feeling pretty guilty about not setting an April challenge up.....so I'm really glad you've taken up the lead and I hope you get lots of people joining. I wish you all great success with your goals. I won't be joining as I've joined a 13 week challenge which fits in with my current goals/timeframe instead.

    I will be doing my 1st April weigh in tomorrow as planned though!

    Struggles : Hard not to over eat on the wekends, having to keep myself busy or I know I will fail. Really need the weather to improve so I can get out walking more
    Successes: Guess I did keep myself busy this weekend. 7 pound loss for the month Yaaaaaaaaa.

    Success!!! Goal was 6 pounds and result was 7.4 pounds and that was including a 5 day eating and drinking binge at a Jamaican resort. Now on to April.

    Successes/Struggles: Well, I didn't reach my target for this month as my weight loss is really slowing down. However, I have finally reached an healthy BMI!!! This is probably the 1st time in my whole life that I'm not overweight/obese :smiley:

    Successes/struggles this week: I know that gain is water weight - I fluctuate so much during the week and normally weigh myself on the weekend. I know my official ending weight is 165.4 and I'm definitely happy with that loss :). Great job everyone! See you in April's challenge!

    Struggles or successes of your week: Another month with 8lb. or more weight loss. I fell outside and threw my back out combined with my oblique strain last month makes it difficult to exercise. I can still walk outside logging 21 hrs. which combined with careful diet monitoring resulted in the loss. Year to date weight loss......34 pounds! :)

    Struggles this week: Still not able to exercise as much as I would like with my injury but I am watching what I eat to make sure that I am not gaining. Doing all my stretches from the physiotherapist and should be back in full swing in a few weeks!

    Successes this week: I was able to complete a Jillian Michael's workout and did a 5.4kilometer walk!


    I am 2.4 pounds away from where I wanted to be but with my trip down south and my injury I am very happy with my 4.6lbs loss and that I didn't gain!

    Successes this week: I've logged in for 96 days in a row. I took a couple of weeks off from the exer-cycle and shook my routine up as I had hit a plateau. Now that I've started to lose again, I think it's time to get back at it.

    Struggles this week: What I have discovered is that Sundays are just plain difficult as we ALWAYS go out for lunch following church and the ONLY restaurant in town (yes, a small rural town) doesn't have a weight loss friendly menu involving foods I will actually eat.

    Successes/struggles this week: The dreaded TOM meant that my weight just leapt upwards for about a week. I felt very disheartened indeed but fortunately it has dropped down again to what it was before. I must admit that I am kind of disappointed that I didn't lose more over the course of the month, especially as I do log everything that I eat and use a HRM with a chest strap during exercise.

    However, I have found a really good fitness instructor and the scales are still going in the right direction!
