How many calories do abdominal crunches burn? I'm new to this and found the exercise listed but don't see any calorie burn associated with it?0

They're are strength exercises and MFP doesn't put a number of burned calories on them. HOWEVER: if you time your exercise and go to "cardio" exercises, type "strength" in the search engine. It will give you an exercise where you can put the time it took you to do it and the calories burned.

Got my 35 in at the gym this afternoon, whew I am glad tomorrow is a rest day my lower abs were twitching after the leg lifts today. I did do deadlift before so I was tightening my core during those, maybe part of the twitching cramps. I'm excited for Monday tho.0

So, I'm cheating. I hurt my back pretty bad yesterday, and while I'm mostly better today (I heal fast!) I don't want to tempt fate. So I'm taking my rest day today and I'll pop out my 35 tomorrow then just keep on going.

I did 20 & 25 today, and on everyone's rest day tomorrow,I will be doing 30 & 35 then to catch up! This is as well as my 65 min of cardio on my elliptical... We've got this!0

@slbale : of course we do! WE CAN DO IT! I had family dinner yesterday and thought I wouldn't be able to exercise due to time. Well, guess what: came home at night and what did I do? MY CRUNCHES!

Come on, the more the merrier. I got my 40 crunches and leg lifts at the gym tonight. That rest day yesterday was great. Today was no prob.0

Got my 45 in last night along with the leg lifts. Got the crunches in one set still but had to break the leg lifts into two sets. Will probably break the crunches into two sets tonight for the 50 so I can maintain form.0
