    I go up and down the stairs all day at home (bedrooms are upstairs and laundry is in the basement) but I just did 5 flights in a row for this challenge, I won't count all the others during the day!

    I'm in. I work on the 3rd floor and I walk up the stairs usually 3 times a day, sometimes 4. The challenge for me will definitely be the 5 servings of fruits/veggies.

    I'm new and this sounds like a good way to launch the week .. stairs at work (I work on the 2nd floor but only take the stairs to my office and from in the evening ) ...

    I'm in. Stairs are a grrrreat challenge! I work on the 6th floor, so will try to walk up at least once a day. I already go up/down between floors for meetings.

    Still need to tally up my burn rate from last week. That was a good challenge, too!

    forgive me, ladies, for being so slack with these challenges lately. The week of the dairy/20 mile challenge I said I as in, and I really focused on it, but was slack about checking in. But, I'm going to do this one for sure. So glad I have stairs in my house, but I'm pretty sure there aren't 30 steps between floors, so I will go by # of steps (1050) instead of flights. And I'm going to make this exercise in addition to my normal workouts, not substituting for it, as I'm really trying to push myself this week.

    Good thing I stocked up on TONS of fruits and veggies at the grocery store yesterday!

    I found this link. maybe it will be helpful to others as well in determining what a "serving" is... but then maybe i'm the only one that can't recall. LOL http://www.fruitsandveggiesmatter.gov/what/index.html

    Heh, i read the challenge as 35 flights per DAY! oh my heck! My building is 20 stairs between floors - so i did a grand total of 400 stairs if my math is correct. Yikes. Overkill!

    Phew, I just finished my steps and holy cow - 5 minutes of jogging up and down stairs is KILLER. Love this challenge!
    I'm changing the way I count the challenge to stairs as opposed to flights b/c I'm using the stairs in my house which is 14.

    Oops! I thought the challenge was for 35 flights a day... I did 30 minutes of the stairmaster... it said I did 96 floors... I am assuming that is the same as flights?

    I wondered that too. Mine says (20 flights up and down) but I didn't double count, I want the most out of this workout. I'm actually trying to get 2x as many as the challenge to give myself a super duper workout this week :tongue:

    Real quick

    1) The goal is 35 flights of Stairs (Approx. 1050 steps total) for the entire week. If you would like do it every day that is GREAT!
    2) If you prefer, feel free to log it as Steps instead of Flights
    3) F/V= Fruits and Veggies
    4) I did the Stair Master today and I counted 15 steps per floor. Therefore, for this challenge 2 floors = 1 flight on the Stair Master
    5) I probably wont have much time on the computer over the next couple of days. So, if you have a question for me, inbox me. I'll get back to you as soon as I can
