Should Guys Wear Tank Tops?

I know the standard answer is "If it makes you happy, then where them", but this is the Chit-Chat, Fun and Games category. That answer just doesn't fly
What are your opinions? I'm gonna be honest, until recently, I would have said "Maybe to the beach or pool", but lately, I wear them more. I know it's nothing but me being vein, but I don't care. I know we have a diversified bunch on this board. Hell, Niner would probably wear a tank to a black tie event. Why would DieselByte ever put a shirt on at all?
So what have you? When is it acceptable for a guy to wear a tank top in your opinion?
only if he shaves his armpits ....
Yeah, because nothing is more manly than shaving all your body hair off because some woman demands it.
ok so at least keep it short ;-)0 -
yeah w a thong!0
-
^^ With the kiddo at your feet!
It kind of depends for me. Sometimes I see a tank top and it's a "no." Sometimes it's a "Mmmmmm, yes."0 -
I wear them all the time when working out or bummin around the house, sleep in one every night0
-
sleeves r over rated anyhow!0
-
I wear tank tops at the gym and under my western shirts. Any of you fems that wanna check my man card come get it.0

Nobody should wear anything unless an application has been submitted in a timely manner to myself and been approved. Otherwise, I can't condone any of it.0
-
Omgsh yes! Especially if they have nice arms! *swoon*0
-
I'm thinking if you're sporting shoulder or back hair, a tank top would be a 'no'.0
-
Tank tops, wife beaters, no shirt!!! Especially during the summer!!!0

^Hm...man card seems pretty intact to me.
This!
My man wears a tanktop to work, those white jockey ones, and its pretty sexy, not gonna lie...0 -
I wear them all the time I probably wouldn't tho if my arms looked like like old noodles haha0
-

Ew.
I like my men with a little body hair. A guy that shaves his arms, armpits, legs, or pubes is a huge turn off for me.
Really?? I don't need full body shaving, but manscaping is definitely appreciated.
Manscaping and shaving aren't really the same thing necessarily. Shaving all of the hair off of his armpits, legs, or arms is a turn off for me, yeah. However, shaved balls and trimmed pubes are a must. I'm also not a fan of back hair. Other than that, I like my men to have some body hair. It's just more...manly, in my opinion.
And beards. The beard is essential.
If I wanted to be with someone smoother than me, I'd do chicks.0 -

Then I guess it's a good thing you're not trying to get in my pants, isn't it? Shave away, dude.0 -
Sorry, I have to go with no on this. When I see a male tank-top regardless of colour or pattern I immediately think wife-beater. If you want to show off your "guns" a sleeveless t-shirt works just as well. Now that I have arm muscles I will be wearing them on my walks with my dog, with plenty of sunscreen of course.

Well, I am naturally not hairy for the most part. No shaving required. So did you body shame me? Cause I was born this way

I may not want to see certain men in a tank top for various reasons, but that's not my decision to make. If a guy has a nice body, he should always wear a tank top.

Yep, total body shame. How dare you not be born hairy?!0 -
Nope, never. A nice fitted T to show off the biceps and chest it always good! Most guys cannot pull off a tank and those that can usually look like they are trying to hard or look like they could be a caste member of Jersey Shores (not a compliment)0

I wear tank tops all the time. Nothing about being vien, but just being out in the sun and comfortable. I am somewhat of a beach bum personality though, so it fits.
Swim shorts, tanks and cut up shirts, and flip flops are my daily wear when not doing the monkey suit or work clothes thing.0
