D@mn, don't look at my profile pic.
You rock that tank - keep wearing them0 -
As I get down in weight, I notice I wear them all the time. I'm wearing one under my work shirt right now.0

I agree.
I agree too.

I have maybe one tank top that I actually wear, but I wear long sleeves year round0

What are your opinions? I'm gonna be honest, until recently, I would have said "Maybe to the beach or pool", but lately, I wear them more. I know it's nothing but me being vein, but I don't care. I know we have a diversified bunch on this board. Hell, Niner would probably wear a tank to a black tie event. Why would DieselByte ever put a shirt on at all?
So what have you? When is it acceptable for a guy to wear a tank top in your opinion?
only if he shaves his armpits ....
Ew.
I like my men with a little body hair. A guy that shaves his arms, armpits, legs, or pubes is a huge turn off for me.
Pubes? I like women shaved so I do not mind0 -

I was going to say I can't believe this is even a topic, but....MFP, so....0

Sorry, I have to go with no on this. When I see a male tank-top regardless of colour or pattern I immediately think wife-beater. If you want to show off your "guns" a sleeveless t-shirt works just as well. Now that I have arm muscles I will be wearing them on my walks with my dog, with plenty of sunscreen of course.
This thread had me confused for the longest time. We call them muscle shirts.
Tank taps are the ones cut off at the bottom of your ribs and I couldn't understand why people were wanting these.....
You can wear them as an under shirt (as well as a t shirt). Or any time you feel slobbish - like sweat pants or when working out.
Essentially, they raise your farmers tan up so you can wear t shirts with no white lines peaking through lol0 -

We also call hoodies bunny hugs or kangaroo jackets (if they have a zipper).
Damn farming province.
But back to 'tank tops'. For me it's a hygiene thing. If it's socially unacceptable to have a few arm pit hairs floating about, a person is probably best off not wearing one.

Should have made this topic "Should fit guys "where" tank tops?" (Yes, I would probably have still made the typo)

Not all guys should wear tank tops. I sometimes wonder why guys who have zero muscle definition wear them.0

You must be in Saskatchewan!
Edited to add: I realize I didn't answer OP's question. I don't really care what a guy wears, just know that once you're in the door it's likely coming off anyway0 -

I'm not sure what a 'tank top' is, but I almost always use sleeveless shirts at the gym because I cant sweat and I'll overheat.
