Is it okay to eat some chocolate or any type of sweets while on a diet trying to lose weight. I've done good & haven't touched any bad foods. Today I went for a 2 hr walk & I really craved some dark chocolate Hershey's. It says 180 cal for 5 squares. It won't throw me back somehow with my progress right? Not trying to sound dumb I just don't want to set myelf up for failure if I eat this or don't give myself sweets once in awhile. (: thanks!

I have a bit of chocolate every day. If it's in your calorie allowance... Eat it. Savour it and stop worrying x0

I eat some kind of sweet everyday, sometimes chocolate or poptarts or whatever. As long as it fits into your calories.0

No foods should be off limits. Its absolutely fine to eat chocolate or sweets of they fit in your allowance. Oy will not throw you back at all other than its 180 calories of your allowance. Eat what you like as treats but keep track of the calories. Take your time. some people put it in the fridge beforehand to make it last. Imo if you like hersheys thats cool. but lots of other people prefer a higher quality dark chcolate to get their kick.
Id you use seach and look under chocolate then that should ive you loads of suggestions of different brands or lower calorie alternatives you might wnat to look at.0 -
I have chocolate several times a week. I feel like allowing myself to enjoy things I like in moderation is going to give me a better chance of long term success than trying to deprive myself of them. I also do allow myself something sweet every day. Even cheesecake and ice cream. Just track it like everything else.0

You can eat chocolate every day and still lose weight, just fit it into your calorie goals. Nothing wrong with chocolate0 -
I lost 55 pounds eating ice cream most nights and a candy bar once a week. Make it fit into your goals and you should be fine.0

I get my sweets in daily. I just fit it in my calories. Even if it doesnt fit exactly, I don't sweat it. If I could never have sweets, or even just have them once in awhile, then I would rather be fat lol.0

I have chocolate and ice cream every day0

for me, it's a no-go for now. Chocolate and chocolate bars are a trigger food -- and I would never be able to stop at just 1 serving. Therefore, I don't keep any of it in the house. I do get some chocolate in my protein shake and my protein bars.0

Every day here too. Typically one square, so about 50 calories worth.0

I eat at least one 63 calorie square of dark chocolate every day, two or three if I have the extra calories.0

Chocolate calories are dangerous. If it has chocolate in it you need to add another digit to adjust for the bad calories, so it's really 1800 for those squares. You've been warned.
But if it's organic chocolate you can take away a digit, because organic food is always healthier. So it would be 18 instead. Makes sense, right? I hope I've cleared that up for you.Sarcasm-1 -
I just had a chocolate gelato pop. I know I'll weigh more in the morning only because I wake up much earlier than I did today. But I'm still in a deficit.0
