    I'm just starting out. This is my first week with C25K training but I'm extremely excited to be finally working towards my dream of being a runner/jogger. Will you be doing this again for May?

    Welcome to running and to the challenge. Yes we do this every month. @stoshew71 sets it up, cause he's good like that!
    Sounds good, thank you!

    9 miles today for a new longest distance ever for me. My pace was 10:00. It wasn't easy to do it on less than fresh legs, at 5.4 miles I hit a wall that made each foot I was able to put in front of the last one a miracle! But I am so grateful for my new chiropractor & massage therapist. They have me doing a lot of physical therapy exercises at home & I know I would not be able to push longer distances without their care. So that brings my total up to 76.03; 7.97 miles to go :smiley:

    No run for me today but so many things happened here over the weekend that I had to reply. :)

    @peeanoe - Congrats on the 5k!

    @Wendy1Fl - Way to smash the 8 and 9 mile barriers!

    @csman49 - Congrats on the new record!

    @gabbo34 - Wow! Great time for a first HM! And for being one spot out of the top 3 in your age group! :D

    @kristinegift - Congrats on smashing your PR! Woot!

    @Training2BeFast - Fantastic time, and congrats on the new PR!

    @briebee7 - Most impressive sticking it out on those hills against the wind. Huge kudos!

    Great job on the mileage this weekend. Just be careful pushing personal distance records on back to back days. Ramping up mileage in a short period of time without recovery can be a recipe for an overuse injury. (Have have a t-shirt for doing that at the end of the November challenge. :smiley: )

    Kentucky Derby half marathon on Saturday with a couple of MFPers, @lbelle987 and @JTick , followed up by Free Your Sole 10K with my girlfriend on Sunday. Yes, I stopped at McDonalds during the race. I was deathly hungry, having been up since 3:30am on nothing but a banana, Froot Loops, and coffee.

    @gabbo34 Congratulations on your first half and 4th in AG.

    @kristinegift Congratulations on your half. I am originally from NJ. What exit are ya? :-)
    I grew up in Union County, lived in Bayonne for a bit, moved down to Eatontown, then Brick before moving to Alabama.

    @csman49 Congrats man on your PB.

    @briebee7 Congrats on your marathon.

    @sonicdeathmonkey80 - I think McDonalds needs to sponsor you and put you in a commercial for how speedy their service is that it didn't slow down your race. :-)

    Ba da da dum! I'm Loving it!

    No idea what exit I am! But I live in Princeton. I moved out here just last September for grad school :) Pretty sure I drove through Eatontown yesterday (but then again I could be mistaken as my NJ geography is awful).
