Just for today ( Mon May 4)
1. Take breakfast lunch and snack with me to work
2. Walk 1 hour after work
3. Stick to 1200 calories
Ok. Here I am at the end of the day and I only walked 35 minutes on the treadmill. So.....I'll be back after I do 25 more minutes. I just don't want to not meet my commitment to myself.

3. I will drink all my water :-)
4. I will complete my PT exercises :-)0 -
I didn't log my food or post anything on the weekend but I did better than I typically do with food and beverages but not as well as I had been doing last week.
Just for today I will...
1) Drink 64 oz of water
2) Log all my food and drink
3) Go to sleep before 11pm
I am going to keep focusing on these three since they led to a wonderful 2lb weight loss last week!
Congrats on the 2lbs :-)0 -
Just for today:
I will be kind to myself
I will be calm
I will nourish my body instead of feeding my emotions0 -

great posting everyone. Happy Tuesday!
1.) today gym at lunch to do cardio and arms
2.) no wine tonight with dinner
3.) no unhealthy eating after dinner
4.) enjoy hot tea in evening to help settle the day down
last night I was getting that itch to eat sweets after dinner, I went outside and planted some seeds and worked on getting my bird feeders cleaned out and filled with fresh food. After that I was good to go, it is amazing what you can avoid if you can just distract yourself for a little while:)0 -
Good Morning/ Day everyone
Today is a non exercise no weights day. However I will remain active for my little puppies sake.
~Today I will do a second hike with the dog before dinner.
~Drink my 8 glasses of water or more
~Avoid eating any of my activity calories
~stay motivated
I did really good yesterday... I got in the gym and did really well. And my activity was great. But when we took our grandson to soccer and he scored his second goal in 3 games my husband and daughter decided an ice cream from Dairy queen was the way to go. I was so strong all the way up to the window, convincing myself I wasn't going to order anything and then bam.... I heard myself ordering an ice cream. I know ice cream isn't the enemy but what happened to my resolve! Thankfully I did the exercise and was under my calorie goal.0 -
JFT...
Boot camp was very challenging last night as we went outside for our work out. I still can't help wondering what the workout would be like if I didn't have the extra 40lbs. I'm considering taking a break from the scale and just using the tape measure for my waist. The #s on the scale can really bring me down some days.
I will track & pre-track what I will eat later today.
Add lemon juice to my water (thank you kwfitgal!)
Walk for 45 mins regardless of the rain.
Journal.
Bake for a church luncheon! Chew gum while baking??
Stay in control.
Have a great Tuesday everyone.

3. Weigh myself in the morning. I have been avoiding this, as I haven't been very active, and haven't been limiting my food choices.
I did this all yesterday - sad to see that I've put on 2 lbs. I knew I was over eating... but holy cats. Onward, though.
JFT I will:
1. Drink 36 oz of water
2. Stay under calorie goal
3. Make my step goal (10,000 steps).
Excellent job to everyone else who made their goals yesterday!

Monday:
1. 12,000 steps not quite
2. lift heavy things
3. less than 100 G carbs
Super sore after a world-class hip-hop workout on Sunday. I got way too low, low, low and boy do I feel it in my thighs! Barely made it through lifting weights yesterday (ouch!) and I might have to take the day off today.
Tuesday:
1. 10,000 steps
2. do some gentle movement but no formal workout
3. less than 100 G carbs0 -
