I'd say go for it on your bday! Have a couple drinks. Remember that this lifestyle has to fit around your life. Give yourself that one day and remove one of your weekend drinking nights later that week. I know it is insane how our minds work against us! I usually give up on challenges as well, but I'm feeling good about this month. I think it is because I have a deadline of Feb 2016 to lose 40 lbs, so I can't procrastinate anymore... been flip flopping around losing weight since Feb 2015. I lost 22 lbs, gained 10 back, then stagnated until now.
I am working out in the same way as you! My office has a leach and I go there during lunch. 13 minute walk there, 25 min intense cardio or weights, 13 min walk back. Luckily, despite the awful heat, I'm not a sweater LOL On the weekends and during the week if I miss a lunch workout, I go for 90 mins or so and get a big workout in.Alisontheice wrote: »

I suck at the challenges because give up always before the end. I have lost 3 lb since starting this Monday, I'm down to 151. I figure I should be able to get to my goal by next week.
My challenge is to workout out every day, alternating cardio and abs and cardio and arms/legs. I also am challenging myself to only have booze on Friday and Saturday. We'll see how that goes since my birthday falls on a Tuesday.

I've lost 45 lbs since November (an average of 1.5lbs a week but for the last few months have only been losing maybe 1 lb per week if that), I've decided to change up my calorie intake (I've changed my goal weigh lost per week from 2 lbs to 1.5 this gave me 190 calories a day and then I will change back to 2 lbs in 2weeks) to see if that will help bump it up to 2 lbs per week.0 -

Successes/struggles this week: I am in, lost 12lb since mid April, however my will power is almost gone! My husband loves his fast food and seems to be eating more of it lately! Holiday booked for July and would really like to fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes! Successes/struggles this week: Just trying to get back on track. I had an awesome March (hit 10,000 steps every day, was under calories every day, followed the Advocare 24-day Challenge). I kept most of that up through April, but had some struggle days. May I traveled and had family in town and everything went downhill. 3 full days in June I'm back at getting all my steps in and staying under my calorie goal. Aiming for a 30-day streak on both of those things.
