I'm close to your height (5'1). I've lost 37 lbs, which at our height was enough to take me from the upper range of an 'overweight' BMI to a healthy range. I started in July 2014, reached a healthy BMI in December, and my goal weight in March. So, about 8 months? I went from a size 14 to a size 6.
In maintenance, I'm trying to work on developing more core body strength. My immediate goal is to do real push-ups with ease, but long-term I'm wondering if I can build enough strength in my core to compensate for my balance issues and be able to ride a bike0 -
Omfg I'm kinda a success story!!!!! Although I'm nowhere near done yet.
I'm 5'1" and so far I've lost almost 10kgs. I've lost waaaaaaaayyyy more size though. I've gone from a very tight 16 down to a 12. I've lost 8cm off my thighs, 6cm from my hips, 3cm from my boobs but I think its more back fat than boobs, my bum is tighter and perkier (according to my husband)
Us short peeps are kicking butt!!!!0 -
I'm 5'2 1/2 or 5'3 and I've lost nearly 40 lbs. weighed in this morning at around 151 and started 190. I have photos on a thread around here somewhere that ill try and link to once I get to a computer. I stuck to MFP and exercise from Sept 2014 to early Dec 2014 and lost around 30 and then started again mid April and have lost around 10 since then! I've gone from a tight size 12 to a size 6.0

I'm 5'2" and nowhere near done yet, but I've lost 40 pounds so far! Started at 212 and now I'm 172. It took me almost exactly 4 months to lose that amount. My goal is 138, which is the high end of a healthy BMI and then I'll reevaluate when I get there! 35 more pounds to go.0

<-- Started in Feb of 2014, down 59 lbs at this point. Another 28 lbs to get in the healthy weight ranege, and will re-evaluate how I feel/look at that point.0

@Christina91525 - Great job! You can definitely see the change thus far!!
About me: I am 5'2"... about 22 lbs lighter than I was around this time last year. Overall, my skin looks healthier (less acne, oil, etc.) and I feel so much better. Still have a bit to lose, but you can definitely see it around my face and neck. Even us shorties can do this!!!! I still have about 20 lbs more I would like to lose. Anyone can feel free to add me and we can all "shorten" this journey together!

I'm 5'2... Been eating about 1250 calories per day since last January (2014)... Had a few weeks of bad eating (holidays and a vacation), and not that much exercise (some walking)...
I started at 252 last January, and am down to 172.4... So about 80 pounds lost so far... Things slowed down this year (more bad days, less exercise)... So I haven't lost as much lately... but I'm working on regaining my self control, and hope to start losing again...0 -
5'2" started at 166 and now 143... Close to my first goal with 134(what i weight when i found out pregnant with my first born).. goal around 1250

I'm 5'1 and have lost 10 lbs. since February this year. Down from 150 to 140. Not a huge change but I've been focusing on endurance running and weight training. Visually I can see my body composition has changed. I'm down a size, I lost my muffin top, and I'm staring to see ab definition. Also, I'm starting to see the reality of a thigh gap. *Gasp* I have times where I indulge on vacation or a girls weekend trip but I try my best to get back on it as soon as I can and the temporary weight goes away. Good luck!!0

Not a huge success 5ft 2 started at 130lbs not at 120lb trying to lose 5 more lbs for my goal weight but its a struggle, It took about 1.5 months to lose.0

I'm also 5'2". I'm curious as to what everyone's goal weight is.0

I'm 5'1-5"2. I started in November 2014 at 190. Now I'm 148. For the past month or so my weight didn't budge. I was stuck at 150 and became frustrated. It was my fault, I wasn't recording everything I ate in my log. This week I have been strict. Eating 1400 calories and working out, burning around 500-700 calories a day (elliptical & Jillian Michael Revolution or P90X). Within a day or two I noticed a change in the scale.0

I'm 5'2" on a tall day lol but I lost from 130 down to 105 lbs. I'm back up to 115 now and would like to hit 110 again, but I'm pretty comfortable with this weight, esp since I'm not having to work super hard to stay here. It can be done0
