Yay! Down 2lbs from Friday last week - I've been weighing myself on Fridays since I started using MFP so I didn't weigh in on Wednesday this week, I thought I'd wait until Saturday. I've followed my plan every day except Thursday lunchtime, when I had a bad day at work and ended up making some bad decisions involving crisps, chocolate and biscuits! But whereas before I would have just gone home and got a takeaway, and icecream and other crap from the corner shop (because my day's 'already ruined' so I might as well 'enjoy it' and start again tomorrow), I gave myself a stern talking to and came home, had soup for supper and didn't give in. I'm so pleased with myself as this has been a major problem with me - I could easily polish off 3000 calories on one of these binges, and then I was complaining that I wasn't losing weight! I think knowing that I had to weigh in on Saturday and be accountable to this thread also helped

Started off at 2lbs a week goal but lost quick weight and alot of muscle. Slowed it down, added Creatine, upped my workouts (strength and cardio) and have settled at 1lb-1.5 per week with definate gains in muscle and strength and clear losses in inches and weight. Happy with where I am headed.0 -

If you goofed up a bit with the holiday weekend just shake it off and move forward! While I definitely indulged a bit, very happy to say that I truly focused on small portion s and avoid certain foods all together...with no desserts! More importantly I food prepped today and am not sweating it...big success for me!
