Home made chicken and veggies soup or chicken breast with salad or vegetables0

This is too late but for future reference: mini turkey meatballs, frozen bananas or grapes, a protein packed smoothie, soup...0

2 eggs, scrambled in pam (160 cal) w/ 1 slice reg toast or 2 slices light toast (80 cal)-- make a sandwich. Puts you slightly over, but gives protein/fat/carbs & fiber. If you have egg beaters, you can have 3/4 cup for 75 cal, & add a little cheese as well0

My fave- Egg whites with Feta Cheese and diced up tomatoes.0
-
The giant salad is a great one for small amounts of calories left - tons of lettuce and chopped veggies, some chopped chicken, and lite balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Easily comes in under your 219 calorie limit.0

Thanks all!0

Too late now, but an omelette with a big medley of vegies is my go to for a light dinner.0
-
4oz turkey kabob and broccoli steamed

Chicken spinach and feta sausages are only about 120 cals/link. Throw it on a Sara Lee Delightful bun for just another 80 calories!0
-
A big pan of roasted mixed fresh vegetables, drizzled with soy sauce. But - wow - 219 calories for dinner would make me sad!0

So, late to the party but my go-to low calorie meal is a Morningstar Farms spicy black bean burger topped with a slice of Velveeta and an over easy egg; 215 calories of deliciousness.0
-
A piece of baked cod and a giant plate of steamed frozen vegetables, California blend, with a small pat of butter and seasoning.0
-
A big bowl of chicken broth, filled with veggies.0

Very welcome! ^_^ I figured if I'm cooking it, might as well save the recipe for later. This way doing groceries is easy and maybe it helps someone along the way.0 -
1 scrambled egg, 2 egg whites, 1/4 cup refried beans, spinach, tomatoes, and salsa mixed all together!0

Asparagus wrapped in shaved (or really thin) turkey (i like the cajun style) cooked on the stove. You can eat a ton of that or put 12-15 with a side. I had 12 stalks with 2 oz turkey and it was 90 calories I think.0

Plus a serving of this: http://www.yummly.com/recipe/Obsessively-Good-Avocado-Cucumber-Salad-1066048?columns=5&position=1/1
It's more than 219 but still under 300, and VERY tasty!0 -

Smothered cabbage with picked meat. It's delicious and low in calories. 2 cups is only 119 calories. I made a big pot and have eaten it all week. Plus it makes you regular0

I just googled that, and omg - yum!! I think that might be lunches next week.0 -
I will cook a protein (chicken, fish, shrimp, turkey sausage) in pam spray. Then add a vegetable (broccoli, cauliflower, string beans, zucchini) and a small can of plain tomato sauce. I add lots of spices (garlic and onion powder, oregano, rosemary) and a little water. Sometimes I add chopped fresh garlic when I cook the meat.0
