Battle ropes if you have the space.0

battle ropes would be cool. Or maybe a nice weight belt.0

I second the amazon wishlist.
An ab roller- really effective and something I as a lifter wish I had- but never remember to buy. It's tiny- doesn't take up much room- and much less expensive than other things.
Jump rope.
Boxing bag/gloves if he's into that.
A power cage!
Plateform with rubber mats.
Grab an ab roller next time you're in walmart or any other discount store.0 -
my missus gets me crap. Got me a Star Wars mug one christmas (i kid you not). When i asked why Start Wars, she was like "because i know you're really into Star Wars". I have downloads of the Star Wars films for our child when he's older, and that's it. I said to her, i'm going to start leaving lists of stuff, then she can surprise me.0

My boyfriend lifts weight...like a lot of weight. We have a weight room set up at home, and it's all gym quality. I am looking to purchase something to add to the weight room for his birthday, but im only looking to spend 200-300 dollars. Any ideas?
Football Bar or a Safety Squat Bar. I don't know what they cost but they are a nice addition to a gym that provide a different stimulus for basic compound lifts. Or even a Trap Bar if he doesn't have one, nice alternative for deadlifting.0 -

I always walk past them and think about it- and talk myself out of them LOL- they really are useful things to keep about the house!0 -
Show up naked....bring beer.....0

A heavy kettlebell could add some interesting variations if he has just barbells and Dumbbells.0

How about a foam roller and lacrosse balls and a massage gift certificate. The recuperation gift pack!0

OK, so the last few suggestions are to show up naked, with beer, a kettleball & a foam roller. It's getting interesting!0

If he's after Free weights, check out the different kinds of Bars available. You've got things like the EZ bar and The Tricep Bar. More weight is the easy option, but make sure the increments aren't massive otherwise he won't be able to grow towards using them safely. You might want to think about weight belts for weighted pull-ups. Maybe a heart-rate monitor? Weight-lifting shoes are always a nice one?0
