This
is my start so far... I have a very long way to go but this time I am ready. You all are such an inspiration!0 -
I am 57 years old. I have no idea how much I weigh now. I last weighed around 142 and my goal weight is 125. I got down to 135lbs and was a size 10. Then March 1, 2015 I started doing strong lift 5x5. I then lost 17 inches and am now a size 5-7 depending on fit. I also went from doing 21 to 24 hours of cardio every week to ZERO I only do strong lift 5x5 for an hour every other day. I also changed from eating 1260 calories to 1600 +. I started lifting with a 12.5 lb bar and now lift 109 lbs squat, 100lb sumo squat, bench 83lbs, barbell row 89lbs, over head press 62lbs, and deadlift 137lbs.

Hi, here's mine, not sure how motivational it will be since I'm not at goal yet and just treading water at this point.
Before is somewhere north of 400 pounds (my scale only went that far), the during is somewhere around 200 pounds
Absolutely amazing and motivational!It is so inspirational to see REAL people changing their lives!
I lost my weight with no fad diets, no trainers, no gym membership, just MFP, free YOUTUBE workout videos like 30 day shred, and dedication!
Looking to stay motivated now that I am maintaining!

@xonicolette , Great Progress!
You may have read the advice I'm about to give you on forums, already. I'm going to reiterate it since I've seen such big changes on my shape. You should really consider incorporating a resistance or strength training program NOW and not wait. Right now, your lean body mass is at it's highest. You will lose some as you continue with your deficit, but KEEPING as much muscle as you can through strength training will result in a much tighter body at your goal weight. If you choose to just stick with a deficit you will lose a lot of muscle and it will be an uphill battle to reach your "super fit" goal. It takes a lot of work to gain muscle, so I recommend keeping as much as you can now and be that super fit person when you reach your goal!
These threads inspired me, hope they do the same for you.

You look fantastic!! You prove that we can look hot at any age if we put the work in. I am also doing stronglifts and after 6 months I can see the results. My weight is the same but my body is smaller and tighter. I'm 55 and can still wear bikinis without anyone running away screaming lol.

Sorry for that, my phone is an r - tard and I didn't see it did that
Anyhow, I just wanted to say that I thumbed back a few pages and you all look FANTASTIC! !!! I only have a before picture right now because I am just starting out, but I will share when there's progress. I started off at 180 and I'm at 168. Goal is 130s. I just had twins, but I will do this!0 -
A lot of people here are really inspiring and I'm amazed at the transformations. It only pushes me to do more. I'm 5'3". My highest weight was 190 twelve years ago, but I lost the weight and managed to keep it off. I kept varying between 115 and 140 over the years. Whenever I would see the number 140 on the scale, I would get scared of gaining it all back and I'd lose weight. Now not only do I want to lose weight, but I want to gain muscle too. I don't want everything to be about the scale, but I don't want to have to keep gaining and losing anymore. I started up in June at 139 pounds and now in August I'm 128 pounds.
