Little inconveniences of being big.

Also, airplane seats! I'm traveling this month and next and already I know that I'll fit better in the seats than I have.
And then there's the boots. I need a new pair and I don't want to have to special order custom boots just to fit over my giant calves.
I was just looking at all the cute boots on Zulily (sales app) and I want to go try them on, they might just fit now!!

I do understand so much of this for you all - my hubs has experienced some of it. Here's a win for you all - you're getting smaller, and won't have to worry about those things ever again! I am honestly so happy for all of you for so many reasons - I've read some of these to the hubs to inspire him.
A side note for you all. Keep up the inspiration, and never forget this feeling of accomplishment, or how good it feels that you've gotten these 'wins'. I've got really bad back problems, and a lot of the things you describe, I'll never be able to do. I'm totally jelly about them - not in a negative way, in a happy way for you, but wishing I could have that in my future. My legs will always go numb if I'm on the toilet too long. I can't tie my own shoes very well, or pick things up off the floor. Kneeling - not for me. Stairs are a *kitten*. Bending isn't something I can do without pain.
I just want you all to keep that feeling you're having right now so that eventually, when you've been at your goal weight for a while, and it can seem like you're taking those little things for granted, you think back to this list and remember how wonderful it felt when you first got here.0 -

My simple wish is to be able to tuck in a shirt or blouse; maybe wear a belt. What I would really like is to look good in a swimsuit again and not be self conscious at the pool or water park.0

For me, it's dealing with my stomach. I'm rather basketball-shaped (not to mention busty), so trying to find shirt that are long enough, and pants that stay up whilst not giving me a very unattractive exaggerated muffin top is still hard!0

I can relate to that experience pretty well too. I had issues with booths and tubs and things around 290-307 which was my heaviest but most of the other issues I never had even then. And at 260 and lower I feel like I seriously did not have any problems moving around or fitting into the world around me. Yes it's easier now after losing another 90 lb, but I can't relate to people who say the world's a big struggle to them at 180 or 200. Not calling them liars. Just can't relate at all given my own experience.
Yeah, I weigh more than that now and I'm in the middle of the normal size range. There is absolutely nothing that my body prevents me from doing.
Frame size probably has a lot to do with it.
Plus you've always been active, right? If so, you'd have had more muscle, which as we know, takes up less space than fat.

For me my biggest issues that come to mind are things like movie seats, chairs and exercise machine and scales, I seemed to exceed their weight limits.
Like I would be sitting in a fold out chair and just happen to read the tag and I'm 20 kg over its weight limit. Then I get concerned it's just going to break.
Also I really didn't like being thrown to the ground at kick boxing. It's padded floor etc but I get worried about the extra 50 kg I was carrying, falling on like an awkward arm or on someone else.
Movie seats was a big one! I never seem to be as comfortable as everyone else , thank god those days are over.

Didn't help that you get packed in either. Being fat and tall the arm rests squish you and your knees jam into the seats in front.0 -
crossing my legs, not filling up the whole dining room chair (lol), being able to walk faster and for longer periods of time!0
