I took a rest day Wednesday and an easy 6km last night. I have 2 long back to back runs planned for this weekend so I'm just kind of taking it easy today. I'll be running a total of 50km (30 miles) or more between tomorrow and Sunday.
I'm sitting at 119km for the month with 231km/144 miles to go.

Wasn't going to run as my knee is still bugging me from an 8 k hike, but decided to despite the 26C temps and 93% humidity. Thought I had a fairly good pace but was slower than average.
4.83 km today for 12.34/50 km for August. Hope to start picking up the miles on a daily basis.0 -

8/15: 6 miles with the Saturday morning group
I usually only do group runs Thursday and sometimes Sunday, but holy cow! The Saturday group is huge! Good to know, as I'll probably be joining them more often for my mid-length Saturday runs this fall that will precede my long Sunday runs. I can run and socialize for an hour or so, but after that my brain turns to jelly and I just want to zone out -- as I discovered last week, lol.

There's nothing like listening to sound of sweat dripping off of my sun visor. Only me and the raccoons out early this morning.0 -
Saturday, so this week's edition of the Long Slow Run, emphasis on "Slow": 10 miles.

First "long" run of the season. Happy to do 5 after taking a 8.5 month break. Hot and humid, but I survived and feel pretty good. On to next week.
