The walking challenge has really motivated me. I now walk into and out of town most days which is roughly 25 minutes each way. (Uphill on way in)
Then of course, Edinburgh Fringe started and I am walking at least 2 hours each day to get into town then between shows. I also have a pedometer which gives me a feeling of achievement when I see I've walked 3-4 miles at a time0 -

Very impressed by the mileage folks have been doing. I missed this thread at the beginning of the month but definitely want to join next month. This month my goal to walk 5 km per day (3miles) and I pretty much manage that most days, but not every day. I can really see how being accountable everyday would be motivating. Good luck to you all.0

You can join in right now and not wait until next month.....I keep track of all my steps all day, not just my designated walks. I carry a pedometer all day that motivates me to get up and move all day long so I can see the numbers increase.
