Great streak! Keep it up! :-)

Thanks much! As @TerriRichardson112 mentioned, I'm finding the accountability of posting helps my decision making. I don't want to have to "fess up" to the group (myself) over a handful of this out bag of that.

I beat this by going to sleep early.. For 2 years I went to bed at 8pm.. It was actually pretty awesome! I'd go to my bedroom, where I never eat, and read for an hour or played with my phone, I got in the habit of listening to an old radio drama before bed (now I go to sleep to it every night) I stay up later now.. But it worked! And I get up early too! (I used to sleep till 2pm sometimes!

Early to bed, early to rise, makes a person healthy wealthy and wise..

    Pretty true!

Out of town last weekend and 3 losses in a row. I won't be out of town for quite a while now, so I'm determined to turn this around.

Thanks! 16 days may not seem like much, but I don't think I have resisted LNS for this many days in years. It's getting so that, most nights, I don't even think of snacking. The longer the streak the easier it gets to change this bad habit. I don't even have to stay out of the kitchen at night now. :)

Day 20 Just one more week till the end of August. And I lost 1lb this week.

I will join this, too! Usually I only have 1 lns once a week (dang), but last week LNS won 4 times. Not doing that again! It's a new day, so I will set a goal of not eating past 8:00 P.M.

    Wow...August already!!??

Tired of self-sabotaging by munching after dinner? Upset that you double your in-calories at night? Then it's not just me . To get some help (or inspire us by your good example), please join us in this challenge.

You set what you feel is late night snacking. For example, if you have extra calories left for the day, you can have a snack if it's small. Others decide not to eat at a past a certain time. It's up to you.

    We go by the formula:
Me: "number indicating how many evenings you stuck to it"
LNS: "number of times late night snacks won"

Example: Me: 2 - LNS: 0 indicates I won the first two nights.

Some people also add a * to the latest number. In the example, that would be
    Me: 2 - LNS: 1*
if LNS won the 3rd night.

It's as simple as that. Or as complicated, as you will discover. Nevertheless, the persistence and good results of some of our "old" members (and some people keep coming back) show that the battle is worthwhile .

    Welcome!

I really need to start this asap. I cook so late sometimes because of work and kids, but I'm going to push to do this by 7pm. I've already started. It was 930, lol, but now between 630 830. I'm going to be drinking a lot of water!
Thanks. .. but the way this is my first time logging in... I needed this... good luck.

So true! It was a lot easier for me with the long streak before I broke it. The last 3 nights have been rough. I'm so grateful for this challenge!

Welcome to our new comers, and congrats to all our regulars who are doing so well and inspire us all! After 'crashing and burning' a number of times in the past week (it's always the ice cream), I have had 4 good nights and last night I didn't even think about LNS - I hope I haven't spoken too soon - early this month I had an 8 day Me streak, so my goal is to make match or better that streak by month end.

Question for ya, is this for something you haven't written in your food diary? For example, I try to plan ahead what snacks I'm going to have after dinner (because I just KNOW that's an issue for me) so this is anything outside of those perimeters or that just falls under the category that I make it whatever I need it to be? LOL Sorry, newbie here and just wanted to make sure I understood it correctly :)
