    Successes/struggles this week: I am late (again) logging in my weight this week, but this time I have a good reason. I was sick with the flu for about a day, so I barely got in enough calories that even came close to satisfying mfp; most were liquid calories. But it is what it is.
    When I look at how far I've come in even just a months time, I can't help but be proud of myself. And that's so hard to do, because I feel like I never do anything right. Lol

    Successes/struggles this week: This past week, I've been struggling with binging and feeling insecure with how I look (especially when around a friend who is steadily losing weight). I also still find it hard to control myself when I'm out with friends- I really want to work on that so I can progress. On the bright side, I've been sticking to making healthier meals and choices this week. Today, I had the opportunity to eat an unlimited amount of cookies, donuts, and sandwiches at work, but I instead stuck to what I made for breakfast. I've also been staying active. Baby steps. :)

    Successes/struggles this week: That number honestly was miraculous. I forgot to log a few days, lost my check in streak, and have been dealing with allergies creeping up on me. Because of that, and the only medicine that seems to work putting me to sleep, I haven't been eating properly or drinking enough water. Just like last week, I believe, I'm missing breakfast most days and I know it's affecting my eating habits.

    Despite all of that, I still feel good about what I'm doing. I'm officially down to one Dr. Pepper (my weakness) a week. That is huge for me. I've started taking measurements and photos to prepare myself for the scale to not move even though I know it should. Each week I notice my clothes fitting looser, and that is what's keeping me going.

    15th August: 175. Suffering some knee pain so had to ease up this week.
    22nd August: 174. At a family wedding for two days but was very active so still lost.
    29th August: 171. :grin: Woo Hoo! Hurrah for Game of Thrones challenges. Two days to go to the end of the month.

    Successes: This week I was really concentrating on strength and flexibility and eliminating late night snacking. I increased my calorie goal but my deficit has been above 1000 most days because of GoTs challenges.
    Struggles: Finding time to keep my daily steps up. Then I found the indoor walking vids on YouTube.

    Successes/struggles this week: Not sure HOW ON EARTH I've lost 4 lbs but it seems I have!! After a not great week last week (putting on .75 lbs) I've certainly been more focused this week and have been exercising more since my fitbit arrived on Monday. I've been sneakily weighing in most days and knew I'd be at least 2 lbs down this morning but the other 2 lbs seem to have come from nowhere! I'm off on holiday on Monday so goal for the next week will be not going overboard and gaining too much. Hopefully we'll manage to do a fair amount of walking to offset the eating. Oh, and I fully intend to have takeaway pizza tonight!

    I feel myself tightening up so all the gym work is paying off....I need not to focus as much on the numbers but we all know how difficult that is! :p

    Successes/struggles this week: I've made my goal for the month! I'm a little surprised because the last week has been so busy and weight had not been showing any change. I need to continue to make time for exercise now that the fall semester of teaching is here, and do a better job planning what to bring for lunch every day.

    successes/struggles this week: This entire week felt like falure and I expected to gain weight, but actually I had a mini whoosh in the past two days. I had to take more time off work to take my sister to the ER and then stay with her for a couple of days, and now I am watching mmy nephews any chance I get to let her recover from whooping cough and pneumonia. I wanted to use my spare time to declutter, but, with all that happened, my living room floor is covered with papers, clothes and boxes, and on top of that are 3 little munchkins demanding cereal. On a bright sight I didn't resort to night binging under stress this time. I just went to bed when a day was over, even though I hadn't been too diligent in logging.

    Successes/struggles this week:
    Week 1: Very pleased this week. Blew through my original goal of 217 lbs and adjusted downward to 210 lbs. Long walks, 7-8 miles a day, coupled with a calorie deficit each day did the trick. I don't expect this every week though. Plan to celebrate with a glass of wine tonight!

    Week 2: Not as good as last week but moving in the right direction. Out of town company for a couple of days had an impact for sure. Still walking every day so that helps. Another glass of wine tonight!

    Week 3: Pleased with myself again this week with a 4+ lbs weight loss. A pound of that was a blood donation today. Feel like that is kinda cheating but I will take it anyway. I will probably get it back by next weeks weigh in. Continuing to eat at a calorie deficit and walk daily for exercise. Definitely a glass of wine tonight!

    Week 4: Still moving in the right direction. Expected a slow down so not disappointed.

    Struggles : Went out last Saturday night and had way to many nachos. This maintaining thing is hard.
    Successes: Slowly loosing from my excess last weekend and hopefully will loose that last 0.8 lbs before the 1st.
