    Welcome welcome! Loving all the new walking folk! :# remember, it's not the speed, it's the distance, and their is no harm starting off short distances and building on it. Slow and steady wins the race :p

    Welcome :p also, I use map my walk as it syncs with my fitness pal and gives you weekly and monthly summaries of how far you've walked. :) x

    I am happy to join! I'm using mapmyride and walking most days, and aiming for two or three good hikes each week. I'm in the white mountains so a lot of days its more about elevation gain than distance for me :)

    3.5 miles with 1284 ft elevation gain for the first of september. 11 weeks to ski season :)
