    157. (ticker's not right, but I refuse to change it!)
    I only manage to lose around 4 pounds a month, but since I've been kinda outta of it for the past couple of months, perhaps my body will respond like I just started and lose more (like you do when you first start!)

    By Valentine's Day let's aim for 150? But I'd be happy with 153 (since that's the 5 pounds I gained in the month of December from all the goodies, drinks and parties):grumble: :grumble:

  • I am really new to this, but I would love to join if that is ok. I started on this website a long time ago, but quickly fell off the wagon, but I am really motivated to try again.

    So, unfortunately, I weigh in at 197- and my goal- is 185 for VDay!!!!

    And I started exercising as of today — I did 20 minutes of circuit training!!

  • I really hope so!! I am so tired of being sooo overweight!!! I feel lousy all the time, enough so that I went to the doctor where they told me to lose 70 pounds!!! I have been putting it off, but after the holidays, I knew I had to do something — I just can't carry on like this!!!!!!

    I'm doing the BL challenge, but can I be held accountable here, too? I'm trying to scare my plateau away by entering as many challenges as possible. Think it'll work?! :bigsmile: My original goal was to hit my goal weight by Feb. 1, but THAT isn't happening unless I can make 10# disappear in 3 weeks. :grumble:

    I am in as well. I want to lose this crappy plateau I have been on since MAY!!!!!!! by valentines day. :explode:

    Seriously, I would like to lose 10lbs but will settle for 5lbs.

    :huh: What's the dope on Mountain Dew? My diet Mountain Dew has been getting me through as I stopped coffee (no more teeth stains) and it has that a bit of sweetness to keep me on track... is there too much sodium?

    Besides being good mixers (:laugh: ) soda has no redeeming qualities to it. :tongue:
