I sometimes walk indoors using YouTube videos. Leslie Sansome has 1, 2, 3 and 5 mile indoor walks at various levels. Just wanted to share.

:'( I injured something in my hip that has me under the chiropractor's care so my walking will be much less than usual for awhile.

    September 1--4.42 miles
    September 2--1.34 miles
    September 3--1.37 miles
    September 4--1.80 miles

:) I carry my pedometer with me all the time so this is all my walking for each day.

    9/1/15: 10,300 steps - 5.02 miles. 1:24'50" 500 calories.
    9/2/15: 11,105 steps - 5.32 miles. 1:36'08" 530 calories.
    9/3/15: 11,800 steps - 5.53 miles. 1:41'25" 551 calories.
    9/4/15: 12,025 steps - 5.72 miles. 1:45'41" 570 calories.
9/4/15: Temporarily Grounded by Surgeon (Orders - "Do Nothing")
OK, I am grounded now by the surgeon, so I am out of the challenge for now. :(
Shortest story - I have a hernia (from a surgery long ago). I knew it, it recently got much worse. I dragged my feet as long as I could. No if's, and, or buts, I have to get it fixed. Praying no damage to intestines and I will have a mesh screen put in and be patched up and back on the road. I will have to start all over again, from my driveway once I am allowed to move again. Last time I had surgery, it took me two weeks to conquer the driveway.

So, enjoy a walk or two for me, somewhere in there!

You just do what is right and take care of yourself. Don't rush the process.

How very frustrating for you to be benched. It looks like you were really getting in some good mileage and that should help your recovery. Hope you are well soon.

Got in two miles this morning, along with walking bleachers at the local football stadium. I missed doing any excercise for a couple of days, sure feels good to get out there again!
