Get well soon. How long is your recovery period. I know you are glad it is behind you.0 -
I have been sitting for 2 hours catching up on my reading on this thread and a few others. What I should do, however is change my clothes and go jogging....so....so...so...
J4T
1. Ask my daughter if she wants to go with me.
2. Regardless of her answer, change my clothes. she went but chickened out after 2 miles.
3. Turn on my music. gospel & zumba!
4. Jog 5k. beat my best time ever by 15 seconds and then went an extra .3 miles and jogged up a VERY steep hill that I thought I would never be able to do.
5. Feel really great.
Thank you everyone for all the motivation that you gave me!
J4T Saturday
1. Stick to calorie goal.
2. Walk at least 5 miles
3. Drink lots of water.

I am really down today for some reason. Not sure why, but some days it is hard to keep trying. But I am not giving up.
So just for today
1. get out and walk. Even though it is very hot outside, bring my water, and get out anyhow. I know I will feel better afterwards.
2. look only at the positives in my life. It is all too easy to look at the negatives.
3. Read success stories
I hope everyone has a great day today. We can do this - one day at a time!0 -

Over on calories by 20%. Forgot I'd had 30g of muesli as a pre - supermarket snack... didn't remember till just now after finished eating and logging for day (would have been in line with JFT goal otherwise). At the same time am pleased with some of my decisions today:
-I realised I actually Didn't want a glass of wine with dinner. Sometimes I have one because it symbolises a treat, rather than because I really want one. Same goes for some other foods too....
- Did NOT buy a huge bar of junk chocolate that was calling to me at the supermarket. Instead bought some 70% good quality stuff and just had 3 squares.
- Ignored the urge to eat something sweet thus afternoon
Did not get 3 jobs done... reallocated them to other days next week and just did the one big cooking one I needed to do.
I CAN get rid of 4 lbs this month....!!feistyjojo wrote: »Saturday's goals

2. Attend Patchwork Group this morning
Terri - are you a quilter? Just wondering if this is what your Patchwork group is. I love to quilt and sew. Mostly in the evenings -- now if I can just keep doing this instead of grabbing snacks in between sewing
What a great idea! I feel much of my binge eating or late night snacking is due to boredom sitting in front of the TV, finally " relaxing"... I'm not into quilting but it seems like I need to find something that works for me. Any ideas?0 -
Just for today:
1. Log every bite
2. Stay within calorie goal0 -
Yesterday was a fairly good day; got a 2 mile walk in even though it was hot. Joan6630, I can relate.
It's a holiday weekend which sometimes brings me down. I have tons of time on my hands so I'm going to get busy. Got more than half the laundry done yesterday, logged my food until dinner. We ate out and I didn't get what I planned to order. Not sure how to log that food so I may just get close. I simply forgot to focus on the water drinking yesterday so that will be a goal again today.
Just for today:
(1) Go to church
(2) Log my food
(3) Drink allotted amount of water or more.
