I have found that having my meals about evenly weighted with calories gives me the best result. I do'nt work at it though. But if i don't eat enough for breakfast, i will want lunch early.

Usually dinner is the biggest for me, because it's usually the meal I don't eat alone. I eat a tiny breakfast, a moderate sized lunch at work, and then dinner at home with my fiancee.

Dinner. The hubs does most of the cooking so I try to leave as many calories as I can for what he makes for dinner.

I get 1,600 calories so I spend 400 for breakfast, 160 on my first snack, 140 on my second (I don't eat a traditional lunch), 500 for dinner, and 400 for snack - so my biggest meal would definitely be later in the day since that's about 900 calories within a few hour time frame! I need a bigger meal at night to help me unwind and maintain my sanity through the next day!

450-500 cals of oatmeal or chicken/veg for breakfast. Usually 5 hours later I'll finish my calories off at 1-2pm in a huge meal. This has been surprisingly effective for me the last week or two. No food cravings and I feel very satisfied.

I try to stay under 2000 calories, but sometimes my evening snack ends up bigger than my dinner in terms of calories. I've learned that I need to eat a very light lunch and I try to delay my dinner so it becomes my evening snack.

I found that if I don't eat enough at lunch and my snack in the afternoon I am starving by dinner which causes me to overeat. I have learned from it and make lunch and breakfast the same amount, but have a larger snack after lunch so I don't overeat at dinner.

I prefer to save my calories for the evening, but lunch usually ends up being my biggest meal. It's because I'm away from home all day (work/school) and I don't like to carry around a lunch bag so I usually end up eating lunch out. And I'm on a budget... cheap + eating out = high calorie lunch.

For dinner, breakfast, and snacks I can cook at home so those end up being lower.
