So motivational! I'm 5' 1.5". I started at 180 in November and today I'm finally, officially down 30 pounds to 150. I experienced a knee injury while working out a couple months ago, and had knee surgery last week, so I've had to rely purely on diet for several weeks to maintain and/or continue losing weight. It slowed my progress but I'm still losing! Next week I should be able to get back on a recumbent bike for therapy.

My goal weight is 125 and I'm looking forward to each pound lost from this point on because it's going to make quite a difference. Haven't been below 150 for a long, long time.

I am 5'1 and when I started I weighed 164 and now I weigh 151. I am losing weight very slowly.I work out five times a week and finally am tracking food daily.

Hi! I was 436 lbs and for 3 years of dedication and determination I dropped to 165lbs.

Unfortunately I gained 60-70 lbs of it back, and lost 36 of that so far!

I don't know how to post pictures, but I have them on my blog. :)

5'2", started at 226, currently hovering between 166 and 168, but I'm stalled, stalled, stalled. I lost about 50 pounds in the first six months, and only about 10 in the next four months. I'm still technically in the "obese" BMI category, and I'd love to lose another 30ish pounds, but I'd settle for another 15 if only I could get ANYWHERE.
Would love to hear from any of you amazing success stories if you ever plateaued HARD and how you got a move on. Also happy to have any new friends - shorties or not!

Pictures are one of me at my highest - 226 - and two from the past few weeks where I'm approx 168.

I'm 5'2 and was 170 pounds when I started. I'm down to 162 and still a tight size 10. My goal is to run the Houston Marathon in January 2016.

    I'm 5'2" and 162. I can't fit into a size 10 : ( That kinda makes me sad.

Sizes vary on many things. I'm down to 140 now (started at over 200), 4'11.5" in height and there are some size 10's I can't fit in yet. But I have a skirt that is a size 8 that's fine. Size isn't very uniform so it can change depending brand, material, body shape, etc.

I am currently 5'2 and 18 years old. I've always been a little on the chubbier side and I finally decided to do something about it a year ago. In my first picture, I weighed 124 pounds and today I weigh 111. I had my ups and my downs, I lost weight and gained it back, and there were times when I felt discouraged and asked myself "What's the point?" Progress pictures, support, and constantly reminding myself of the reasons why i wanted to lose weight is what got me through it. Eat healthy, turn working out into your hobby and ALWAYS REMEMBER YOUR WHY!!! I know it's easier said than done, but hold your head high and remember that you'll never feel guilty about a good, challenging workout, or a healthy meal. It will make you stronger, happier, and healthier. By the way, please excuse the messy room.. you know us teenagers

I'm finally motivated and want this!! I've come on here multiple times and each time I walk away and end up coming back weighing more ugh so i'm here to stay. Now with 30lbs to lose! I'd love to see people with similar stats post their success stories, tips, before/after pics, anything motivating!

Took my first "after" picture yesterday, and I honestly don't know if you can see a difference. I'm 5'2" and I've lost almost 20 pounds now :) Left is before (180ish), Right is after (160ish).
I can definitely see a difference! Your top is fitting better your bottoms aren't cutting into you, Your belly is smaller & there's space between your thighs.
We are always our own worst critic's.
    Great job girl!!
