    Coming in late but here I am. Having some issues with exercise but determined to do some everyday. Had to lower my goal to 5,000 steps a day. Darn!! But I need to challenge myself.

    20 more miles in the last 5 days for a total of 94 miles of walking for exercise in September. I am going to make it to 100 miles of walking dedicated as exercise.

    3 miles today. The dog and I found a moose in the woods, I prefer to see them from a distance lol.

    Climbing this mountain nearly killed me in July, but this time it was so much easier! So happy!

    I'm a newbie here. I have paralysis and have been trying to exercise by walking using my walker. I have to be careful not to over do because I lock my knees to be able to walk and don't want to blow out my knees. A regular pedometer does not register my steps for some reason, so I have been using a stopwatch. Of course I have to stop and rest, so I stop the watch while resting and restart it once I get going again. MFP's closest calorie count is titled walking using crutches.

    9/20 64 minutes.
    9/24 84 minutes.

    I'm in! Can no longer do the high impact stuff due to back surgery a couple of years ago. We live in a little coastal community that is perfect for walking, and so I do several mornings per week with my dog, and sometimes with my husband (who has trouble gaining weight. Sigh.) I usually complete 25-30 minutes at a brisk pace....more outside of summer when it's not so hot & humid.

    7.79 miles with 3000 feet elevation gain (and lost, what goes up comes down) up moosilauk. I was hoping for brilliant foliage but the leaves are just starting to turn. I'm tired the dog is not, this dog is never tired
