Those sugary coffee drinks that are really just dessert in a cup.

I don't usually get sweetened drinks... but I do love me a latte. Smoky espresso, with the slight sweetness from the steamed milk. So good. I haven't had a good one in a few months. I might need to make a trip to Sweet Eugene's.

I have stopped eating enchiladas. Temporarily. So much cheese. So tasty. I'd rather eat chicken tacos and feel full. I might need to treat myself next month. Go to Chuy's, have theveggie enchilada, and a cheese chile relleno, and grab a latte on the way back to the office. :)

Muffins.. I used to always get a muffin with my tea because they basically give it away for a quarter or something like that. Those suckers add up

I don't eat stuff that isn't delicious to me. For example, I used to grab an Oreo or two if they're sitting there. Or chips! And I don't even like them that much.

However, if something is tasty (I love mayo on my sandwiches) I fit it in.

Those Krispy Kreme donuts that are just a glazed ring. Not worth the calories since I'll get hungry pretty quick, and I don't find them particularly yummy.

If I'm gonna eat a donut, it's gonna have some cream filling. Ideally it'll be chocolate dough, chocolate filling and chocolate frosting :sunglasses:

brilliant - if i'm going to eat a donut it better be worth it

I eat all the fat. Carbs and too much protein, however, I do mostly avoid.

Cauliflower. The taste to calorie ratio is the worst.

I believe that the honor for worst calorie to taste ratio is creamed corn.

anything sweet. I don't even have to avoid it. It just does not figure in my life, because I don't like the sweet taste. I tried ( to be one of the team at work ) those Starbucks " meals in a coffee cup " and could not even swallow one sip.

Though I *love* it, ice cream just doesn't do me any favors.

I am Sicilian (hanging my head in shame) and I pretty much have given up breads and pasta. For my birthday I am making a huge pasta meal and bread but other than a special occasion...yeah...Now I am sad.

Any kind of Oil. Other then using it to fry food, it has no taste to me. A salad with just vinegar taste the same to me as a salad with oil and vinegar. I actually do not even like the feeling on my lips i get from oil on a salad.

Drinks - pretty much all of them (except black coffee, plain tea, and water, obviously).

I don't think I've completely stopped eating anything... although obviously there are things I eat only rarely now (fried stuff, croissants, pastries). And there's nothing wrong with fat.

Yeah I stopped using oil in my dressings and can't tell the difference. I only use it to sautee/roast stuff now (it does make a difference, even if you only use a little bit).

I almost never eat crackers now. 5 plain crackers just doesn't seem worth the calorie count. I'd rather get more food for that amount of calories.
I'm unwilling to use my precious calories for drinks now most of the time. I'd rather eat more and drink water.

Well, there is one ancient Sicilian recipe you could try. Doesn't sound that good to me, though.

Tainia [3]: gut, discard the head, rinse and fillet; add cheese and olive oil.

It's from a cookbook written by some guy named Mithaecus. Maybe the rest of it was better?

I have celiac disease. The gluten-free alternatives to a lot of gluten-containing foods aren't worth the calories. Pizza, for example. It's just not the same.

Ironically, OP says Mayo is not worth the calories, but to me, Mayo is the only food item that needs oil to taste good. I dont like fat free or even light mayo. I would rather use a thin coat of real mayo then a thick coat of light or fat free.

And i can not eat a BLT or turkey club sandwich without mayo.

My favourite set meal for one from the Indian takeaway.
    2 poppadoms
    Raita
    Chicken tikka kebab
    Egg pilau rice
    Lamb vindaloo
    Cauliflower bhaji
    And a HUGE garlic naan

I've guesstimated it at 3200 calories, I have it quarterly but want it weekly :)

Foofy coffee drinks, soda, juice, Oreos (my favorite!)... Pasta and rice most of the time (I would rather have more of the flavor of the other stuff I serve with it)... I'm not a big mayo fan, but I like it on BLTs... But I've recently discovered organic wholly guacamole singles, and those are just as good if not better on a BLT or turkey sandwich instead of mayo... Mmmmmmmmm!

For me it's sugary cereal with whole milk. I used to have a bowl every night, usually something like Cocoa Krispies or Frosted Flakes. You know, something my 2-year-old might pick. I recently let myself have a bowl of Total Raisin Brand, but it's not the same :(

I'm not sure there's things that I'd say are NEVER worth the calories, but there are things that I used to eat (nearly) every day without thinking twice, that now I surely don't think are worth making daily room for:

    donuts
    regular coke or mountain dew
    mocha lattes
    rice
    pasta
    reduced fat cheese
    bagels
    muffins
    cookies
    ice cream/blizzards/shakes

And here's the things I WILL MAKE FIT every single day if I gosh darn want to:
    wine
    high quality chocolate
    4% cottage cheese
    eggs
    swiss cheese
    butter on vegetables
