I just finished my second pot of green tea today. It's not making me lose any faster.
By all means, drink as much as you like, just don't be disappointed when what everyone told you turns out to be true.
But you never stated why you drink so much green tea, is it because you like the taste? Do you feel like it's helping you in some way?
I like the taste. And I can drink a lot more if I'm drinking tea instead of plain water.0 -

Every day I drink one cup of coffee, one cup of black tea, and one cup of green tea. In 12-oz. mugs. It helps me stay full between meals, but I'm sure it's because of that extra quart of water, not anything in the coffee or tea.0

Serious question: of the people here who have lost impressive amounts of weight and kept it off for years, how many do you think did that with a fruit-only diet? Or by just adding green tea?0 -

Don't run away. It's tough disspelling all the BS and getting to what really works. Even if you don't like how it's been presented, the info you've received is solid; fixes like green tea and fruit diets (even in short terms like a week) are actually more harmful to your progress because they hinder your understanding of weight management.0

I like to use Green tea as a guilt free snack. Any other benefits are a bonus. I think many of the health claims are perhaps exaggerated but it tastes good, helps stop a growling tummy and is pretty much calorie free so it's a part of my diet arsenal (as well as fruit teas too).0
