I started slow, I made tiny goals every week to accomplish, tracked my food, I have 1 serving of junk food a day or 2 half servings of 2 different junk foods, I have cheat days on Saturday bc I work in a restaurant & work a long shift that day, I stay active throughout my day by picking up the house, cleaning, going for walks, going to the gym, I drink plenty of water- a lot more than 8 glasses, I make sure I get my fruit & veggie servings in& eat foods with nutritional value like eggs, yogurt, chicken. I eat 1700-2000 calories a day
It's telling me to eat 1700. How did you get to have that many? 1200 is hard sometimes! Great job!0 -

Your metabolism is slow if you're filling up on 1200, the faster you digest your food the more you have to eat.

When I started I ate 1400, the more weight I lost the more I had to eat, I know it seems weird & confusing & I struggled to get myself to eat that much but the week I increased to 1700 I actually lost more weight than when I was eating 1200-1400

I have always had weight fluctuation through puberty I went from 95 pounds my freshman year of high school & went up dramatically then back down a good amount & right back up all the way to 248. When I reached the 200's I started making excuses like "I'll start if I reach 220" then when I went to the doctor I freaked out a little when I weighed 248. I was always insecure when I went out & ever since I was little I've been bullied about being too skinny or too fat. Back in November of 2014 I decided to join the gym bc I wanted to feel comfortable in my body & be able to wear cute clothes & shop any where I wanted. I also had health problems bc of the weight, I didn't get my period for 3 years within the first month of me working out every day I got my period. It was crazy how fast my body became healthier just by working out 20-30 minutes a day. The more results I saw the more I wanted to workout. When I started seeing the definition lines on my stomach I got really excited for my core workouts. Stuff like that
