    Successes/struggles this week: I have been super busy this week, but am watching what I eat closely. Pre-made a bunch of meals on Sunday so there would not be any excuses during this crazy week. So far haven't made the wrong choice yet and even with having plans every night this week (I hate that) still making sure I get my walk. Also, I am starting the 3rd week of the C25K. I have never gotten this far before in the program. Feeling awesome!!

    Successes/struggles this week: Struggling this week. Stress levels have been sky high and have turned to food to comfort myself. I'm really disappointed in myself, but I won't beat myself up over it. Will start logging and weighing food again tomorrow and get myself back on track. Just need to remember I'm only human and it'll be OK in the end :)

    Week 1: Good start to this month. On travel next week so healthy low calorie meals will be a challenge. I anticipate a weight gain but will try to keep the gain minimal.
    Week 2: Back from travel today. Surprisingly weight was static so I am pleased with that. Back to routine tomorrow so hope to see some losses next week and get into the 180's.

    Successes/struggles this week: I feel like I should be doing better than this... My biggest struggle this week is not loving myself. I practice mindfulness and present awareness, and my body image/self-esteem is just extra low this week. A bunch of things are resurfacing/triggers etc... and I'm trying to deal with them - plus there is something wrong with my lymphatic system and I'm doing everything I can to try and fix it. detox tea, "Sweeping/brushing", lots of water, trying to cut back on diet soda - thats the worst and of course proper diet.

    Successes/struggles this week: I actually lost over 10 pounds during the month of September, so October is showing a slower weight loss which is not unexpected. This AM I was 181.5. My short term goal was to get to below 180 by Halloween. Since I'm getting so close to this goal, I'll probably weigh myself every AM until I see 179.9 on that darn scale. lol
    Doing great with staying within 1200-1400 calories a day this week. Still do not drink enough water though. Unless it's really hot outside and the water is really cold, I just don't drink it. So I'm trying to add stuff to the water (Wylers Light grape is the favorite this week) to get that water into me.

    I still lost weight, but it isn't coming off at the speed I hoped. Felt a lot of stress this week and caught myself wanting to smother the uncomfortable feelings with carbs. I didn't go overboard, but I snuck in a little popcorn. I also made the kids walk the dog, so I didn't meet my step goals most of the week. Looking at a gym membership so I can burn more calories and build some muscle. I have a terribly saggy booty these days! Good luck everyone! Hang in there. We are halfway through the challenge.

    Successes/struggles this week: I've been walking on the treadmill every other night and watching my calorie intake. At the beginning of the month, I switched my loss per week goal to 1.5lb instead of 2 and while I'm only losing 1 per week, I feel much better. I'm happy to see any loss right now.

    Successes/struggles this week: I started the week off well! Went cycling Monday! Watched my calorie intake all week. I cut out bad fast food, but I still had coffee in the mornings.

    Things went for the worse Monday evening. I started to feel that I was getting sick. My aunt from Toronto was sick, she was visiting, my one friend is sick, my dad, and go workers at work are sick.

    So now I have minor cold symptoms but a bad sore throat. So this morning I will probably go to the doctor to get it looked at.

    Plan for this week:
    - Increase sleep each evening to 8 hours or close to it
    - Water intake to 8 cups or more
    - Watch calorie intake
    - Go to gym starting Wednesday depending on how I feel.
