I have these great ideas but the second I get home I just crumple on the couch and don't accomplish anything. Successes/struggles this week: Had a weight spike on Tuesday this week - which was gone the next day, but definitely hampered efforts this week. Might have something to do with being very ill the last few days and drinking a lot of fluids. Went for a long 6 hour+ hike on Sunday which was wonderful. Now that we're almost on the home stretch, the goal is still reachable, and looking at my stats I'm only 500g off my targeted weight loss rate. I'll be putting more effort in this week.0 -

I was careful with my calories this week but I only gained until I overate yesterday and lost a kilo ;-)
Experience has shown that overeating does not lead to weight loss, though, so I will keep on counting calories and trying to stay within my limit. I am back to where I started on the 1st, not too happy about that but there is still a bit of time left in this month.0 -

Successes/struggles this week: Can't say I'm surprised! I've been out of town on vacation 6 out of the last 7 days. I didn't do TOO terribly with my eating, and we walked 5-9 miles daily, but there was a TON of salty foods involved. Looking forward to getting back into the groove today. Frankly, I'm totally sick of eating out and restaurant food. I want healthy, homemade, nutritious food. (What a change from before I started MFP!)0 -

Successes this week: Consistency. I upped my exercise. I now do between 10-12,000 steps a day. I also started eating back 20-40% of my exercise calories. I'm feeling more well balanced and less deprived.
Struggles this week: Life problems. I'm working really hard not to let it ruin my progress. Exercise has helped!

Week 1: Good start to this month. On travel next week so healthy low calorie meals will be a challenge. I anticipate a weight gain but will try to keep the gain minimal.
Week 2: Back from travel today. Surprisingly, weight was static so I am pleased with that. Back to routine tomorrow so hope to see some losses next week and get into the 180's.
Week 3: Success getting into the 180's. Still walking everyday. Exercise and eating at a calorie deficit is working well for me. Finally had to buy a new pair of jeans. My old ones were a 42" waist and new ones are a 36" "slim" and fit nicely. I was really surprised by that NSV.

Successes/struggles this week: I can't seem to get enough exercise. I have all the time in the world to do it, but zero motivation. Despite that, I'm happy with this small loss. I was 188.4-188.7 all week, so this is nice. My main issue has been not eating filling foods. I don't eat the right food, so I feel hungry and end up going over calories. It's usually less than 100 calories, but it's 100 calories of junk. Definitely need to tighten things up this week.0 -
