I have been cooking a lot more since i started exercising and eating better. Here are my five:

Black beans. I like to use it in stews, veggie burgers and burritos. It tastes good and is healthy.
Cherry tomatos. I eat a pint like it is candy.
Bread crumbs. It can be used in so many recipes like stuffed mushrooms.
French vanilla yogurt. I put raspberries, blueberries or blackberries in it for a healthy dessert.
Walnuts. I use it in many recipes. It is also good to have for a snack.

I picked five because it is an easy number. I know you probably have many.

PB2 and Shakeology are my biggest everyday staples, but that's not really for cooking.

For me it's Joseph's pita bread, laughing cow cheese, frozen veggies (I work 60 hours a week so I do what I can), chicken, and bananas. :)

    Mine would definitely be:

    3. Fresh Vegetables
    4. Chicken
    5. Garlic Cloves

    Steak

Wow...I promise that I eat veggies every day! The veg always changes though, so nothing's really a staple. I like trying new things. :)
