    Successes/struggles this week: I almost lost myself but I picked myself right back up when I saw myself becoming obsessive and slipping. I've started taking better care of myself, deciding when I have to wake up earlier on Saturdays for school and still want to hang out with my friends later it's okay to take a nap, that in fact I should probably prioritize an hour or two nap over the gym as sleep contributes to my health just as much as fitness. That in turn has hoped solve any anxiety issues I've been having; now they're lighter and less frequent. Furthermore my cravings have declined since as well. I also don't use the gym and allotted calories as an excuse to eat more and badly like I have been for a little while now. These past two weeks have been insightful and time of reformation. No I didn't meet my goal, but considering I was only two pounds away and I overcame what was setting me back: I think it's safe to say I still met the end of October with success.

    Weight lost/gained this month: So far, the 1.6 pounds gained this month.

    Successes/struggles this week: I started the carb cycling diet loosely the week of 21st and was able to lose about 5 pounds. This past week, I stayed the same. I think the rewards meal I ate following the diet threw off the loss because I ate more than I should have (went over the calorie goal). Plus the fact that the Sunday of the first week of the carb cycling diet, I WAY overate my calorie goal for a rewards day. This week, I've eaten only slightly over my caloric goal with the rewards meal which showed that the weight stayed the same. This week, I'm going to try to go for eating more veggies for my snacks and smaller portions for a rewards meal. And instead of a rewards meal every other day (on High Carb days), I'll do one or two this week. Wish me luck!!

    Successes/struggles this week: A pretty dreadful week in terms of diet, although I had a lot of fun. It all went wrong from Thursday last week, when I had a particularly hungry day and had a Halloween party that night. Basically, I ate too much, drank too much, woke up with a hangover on Friday and had the wine hunger, so ate everything that came into my path, all day long and then had another party on Saturday night (repeat the drinking/eating process).

    Successes/struggles this week:

    Week 1: Good start to this month. On travel next week so healthy low calorie meals will be a challenge. I anticipate a weight gain but will try to keep the gain minimal.
    Week 2: Back from travel today. Surprisingly, weight was static so I am pleased with that. Back to routine tomorrow so hope to see some losses next week and get into the 180's.
    Week 3: Success getting into the 180's. Still walking everyday. Exercise and eating at a calorie deficit is working well for me. Finally had to buy a new pair of jeans. My old ones were a 42" waist and new ones are a 36" "slim" and fit nicely. I was really surprised by that NSV.
    Week 4: Very happy with losses this month. Anticipate a slow down next week due to social events and travel.
    Final: Pretty good month overall. The next two months will be tough with holidays and social events. Getting off to a bad start with a two lbs gain.
