I'm here!!! cooking up tales of derring-do. So far we are only just in November so not a lot to report - managed a beautiful dune and beach walk in Wales the last day of October, t-shirt weather!!!
Managed the gym in the morning yesterday, and a swim on the way home, then spent half an hour stuck behind football traffic, and another half an hour looking for a space to park vaguely near my house. let's just say I was grumpy when I got home.
Targets and stats this month so far:
Walking/slightly faster walking what some might call running miles: 6.5/50

well didn't make it to my Shag (dance) class last night out of laziness (and a bit of leg pain which I'm monitoring), but did make the gym in the morning. Not sure what's going on, me? gym? in the morning? need to plan some other activities there other than c25k as woke early enough this morning and could have fitted in a session.
off to watch some rugby tonight and may see if I have time to sneak in a swim beforehand.

@ girlinahat- thanks for the confidence on the target. Just not sure about the weather now in Indiana. Wanted to ride last night but 16 mph winds and gusts to 25. Also my daylight hours are so reduced, it's getting dark now by 6:15pm. I looked at the bike in the house on the trainer if that counts anything lol.. thought naa, not yet

I reached only around 1/2 of my goal last month but really there was nothing more I could have done with all that aspired. Thanks too each of you for your words, thoughts and prayers.
MY PERSONAL GOAL FOR NOVEMBER IS 100 MILES.....I feel like I'm having too drop back a bit and IF I get more in then that is just great!

I changed my step goal yesterday from 10,000 steps to 13,000 steps per day. LOL....I wound up jogging back & forth through the house to get there but, I got there and my grandchildren loved it because they were allowed to run in the house hahaha...tricked them into getting exercise also0 -

Love it!!! I been told by several my body was just born way before my mind lol. I get alot of the eyeroll and walk away from the Daughter in law when the granddaughter (5) and I are having fun .lol0 -
11/2: Day 10 (of 24) of the cycling app I am trying to finish this month.
Some walking around and not a lot of sitting.
11/3: Elliptical for 40 minutes.
11/4: Nothing
11/5: Nothing
11/6: Stationary bike for 30 min and leisurely swimming laps for 20 minutes.
11/7: Walked a 5k called Purple Strides to raise money for pancreatic cancer research.

It has been a busy week here as well jesiann even though we were away most of it. coming home is a lot of work as well AND with husband planning on retiring our next week is filled with a lot of running and paperwork. When one Retires you should be able too retire and rest in peace. Well that is my thought anyway...lol...
Rain and more rain which finally did stop and bring cooler temps. I had too child sit our niece and nephew and they were able too take a shorter walk with the girls and me. 1.5 Walking miles was it for the day...

@SteveCro I've been told by everyone to slow down because I'm getting "old" & because I need to take it easy. Haha, I just tell them I'm not ready to be "old" and they worry because I've had heart probs in the past but, my last surgery went well and my dr. said, that I can run a 5k if I want to, sooooooooo, here I go!!!!!!!!!!!!!0
