This morning I cautiously stepped on the scales and was back down to 130.8. What a relief! After reading all the comments, I looked back at my log and was reminded I had curly fries for lunch and sausage gravy and biscuit for supper the day before the spike. Too many carbs and salt.

yep carbs and salt do that every time, its good to be aware of what causes fluctuations so you don't feel concern over them.

I am 4'11" I lost a 165 lbs all diet and exercise. I Olympic lift and do cross fit now 5 days a week. My lowest was 109 but I a hover around 112-114 in the AM sometimes a bit more. It is not unusual too if you are exercising and lifting weights. AND if you NOT Hydrating your body will hold water to make up for it. Drink a ton with fresh lemon. You should be drinking half you body weight in ounces per day. I am currently a healthy living, clean eating and cooking coach. Check your sodium numbers as well. But the water should wash a lot of it away. Warning drinking that much water for the first day or so may make it up a bit more before you see it go down. When eating out have hot water with lemon after the meal.

I gained 8 lbs after 48 hours after having an indulgent weekend. But I lost it all 5 days later by going back to normal eating. It happens.

Yup, that'll do it. ;) That's why I'm a practitioner, and advocate, of daily weighing - at least for those who have the temperament not to freak out about daily fluctuations. It's such a great opportunity to learn how your body works, especially when done in conjunction with food logging.

Glad things are looking better for you.

It helps with purging salt from your system.
