Honestly, dem feels for me is never anything but positive.0

This thread has given me dem feelz. Dem gifs!0

Is this meant to patronize someone for feeling a certain way? What's the purpose of this a way of expression?
To me, this expression is appropriate when I replace facts with feelings, all the while believing my feelings are indeed facts.
Auntie used to tell me dem feelz are not facts, they are just.....dem feelz.
It's a fact.0 -

If someone gets insulted by the slang " dem feelz" then the internet may not be the best place for them.
There's slang used all the time , woo, derp, dem feelz , and so on. Not everything is an insult. But if people enjoy playing the victim, then go for it.
Personally, I'm insulted by the term Beast Mode. My back isn't *that* hairy.
YOU, I like!

Yeah I normally see it in relation to a gif or video where there is emotional stuff.
Like when a dog reacts to a soldier coming home.
Or a dog is sleeping on the grave of its owner.
Something positive or negative happens but it's emotional

Feel whatever you want. Don't expect what's necessary to conform to your feelings, though.
I feel like feelings should still be taken into consideration equally to facts..feelings are usually a large reason that anyone ever gains a lot of weight.
So when facts and feelings contradict ... which wins?
Dems very deep......so deep.0 -

From now on when I hear beast mode, I will instantly think its a direct insult . I will take it personally ( cuz of my hairy man beast back ) and will probably write about how I've been insulted in many threads.
Beast mode- insult

I've always perceived it more as a commiseration. But I suppose context is always important.0

For some reason, of the two times I've seen it on this forum (2nd time was a post to my question of what woo is) both times were in a sarcastic, patronizing context...which conflicts with my traditional Internet understanding of the expressing being being mostly sincere. Hence, the question.0
