I became allergic to them at 21 after having them my whole life

One of my son's friends has a more frustrating situation. He loves cats; his father is very allergic. So when he visits at our house, he wants to love up our ladies who are affectionate... but he can't...

I had 10 years of weekly/monthly shots to get rid of my cat allergy. Didn't totally work but it's so much better now. It wasn't in the US though so it didn't cost me anything...

Yeah I have an allergic friend who gets allergy shots because of her cats. She says it's worth it.
