I was kind of hoping to do a flat route, and the first 20 km wasn't too bad, but then it got hilly. Oh well, I'm starting to get used to that.

I'm in ,will go for 150 miles. Mostly indoor with the bike on a trainer few outdoor if weather permits.....
1/1-3014 steps, 1.507 miles walked
1/4 - 12.12 miles, 598 calories, 63.12 minutes, road bike, cold ride 34 when I started 28*F when finished + 1082 steps .541 miles for the day.
1/5 - 1.91 miles, 3830 steps, walking during work and at home
1/6 - 20.81 miles, road bike, 37-34* F
1/6 - 2.29 miles, 4573 steps work and at home
Totals - miles- 39.180 -
I was thinking 'konagirl64' THAT is a lot of miles! I like walking better BUT I usually do a bit of both. My bike is on the fritz and eventually I HOPE my husband can look at it. I still use it some but it makes a grinding noise...:(

@jeanniewes, the recumbent bike is really my only form of exercise at this time plus physical therapy exercises and stretching. I have severe arthritis in my left hip, I refuse to try and ambulate around with a walker at age 51, very painful. I'm not a fan of swimming in a pool ( super dry skin and tired ) would use that as last resort. Losing weight for surgery. I can't wait to get my life back with walking, hiking/backpacking etc. Chris0 -

Half an hour of Zumba, my body couldn't keep up with the feet lol.
I WATCHED a Zumba class once. Purple faces all round it looked very very energetic!!! More so than the two hour Collegiate Shag class I was about to do!!! Fair play to you.
And welcome to other new folk, great goals, let's get MOVING!

Weather was calling for rain today BUT It got here after 1p.m so the girls and I were up early and out the door for a long walk. Intended doing another one but I had too baby sit and the rain set in anyway. Tomorrow we may awaken too snow as well and it is a church Service day but today I got in 3.75 Walking Miles.....

I am not sure people respond much on our homepages. I do BUT I never get replies SO I wanted too say that 'Steve there is no way my warm up could be at 14F!" If it is not at least 35 degrees and SUNNY I can not get out in that. My hat is off too you!
Yesterday was cold, snowy, church day AND we had kids here. The best I could possibly get out was 0.5 walking Mile but it is what it was...ughhhhhhhhhh
THAT makes me as of SUNDAY DEC 10th: 22.75 Walking Miles....
I hope too get a walk of some sort in today though!0 -
