I eat and enjoy myself. I hate the term "cheat". I do NOT CHEAT but I do occasionally go over my calorie goal. So what, life is a marathon, not a sprint.

Don't go to buffets often. Usually poor quality food.

Depends on the casino, but some casino buffets are incredible.

So I went to Mohegan sun with the hubby. I have really been logging everything the past week. We went to the buffet and I didn't go crazy like I used to but I wasn't that great either. I actually tried to log as much as I could. Obviously I went over my calories intake. I'm a little upset but I can't go back. I'll have to go on the treadmill when the kids go to sleep. My question is aside from not going what do people do when they go to the buffet?

I avoid buffets because I overeat because I want to get my money's worth, and honestly old food sitting under a heat lamp just isn't that tasty.

I used to sit close enough to the buffet so I could see when they brought out a fresh tray of my favorite food. Which was very often, at the places I used to go to.

But, yeah, I have a hard time not overeating due to wanting to get my money's worth, and haven't been to a buffet in ages. Actually, I stopped going because my ex was like the "You been here four hours. You go now." guy - I'd finish an hour or more before he did. He could put away some sushi!
