Just finished The Generals, about Marshall, Patton, and Macarthur. Reading Dean Koontz Frankenstein series now.

Dean Koontz is my favorite. The Frankenstein series is good. So far the one that I've loved was From the Corner of his eye
    That was amazing

I'm currently reading Private Down Under by James Patterson
I decided to go on a reading rampage
    Reading all private novels

The Twisted Blackmailer by T.L. Garrison. It re-envisions Holmes and Watson as high school girls and it's clever and hilarious (and written by a friend of mine)!

The Unchangeable Spots of Leopards by Kristopher Jansma. Honestly, I just picked it up at the dollar store because I needed something to read and the cover looked interesting, but it actually is turning out to be a pretty decent book.

Have you read the Shardlake series by C.J. Sansom? They're fantastic. First one is Dissolution.

Currently reading The Hamilton Affair (fiction biography of Alexander Hamilton) and trying to slog my way through The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Just finished The Wonder by Emma Donoghue, it was pretty good.

I'm a big fan of sci-fi, especially of the dystopia or doomsday type, if anyone has read anything lately they would recommend, please advise!

Also, for any of the books that anyone is reading, would you mind giving a little one-liner to describe what it's about, or at least genre? Please and thank you!

I just read Guardians of the Phoenix by Eric Brown recently, doomsday - I think two generations after most of humanity has killed itself off? Survivors struggling in small colonies, most of it takes place in Europe, desert-like landscape. It was wonderful!
