Mini goals are so important! WTG!0 -

Loving the fact that I will never see 200 again. Now, on to never seeing 190 again. Yay, I am on a roll.1

I made it to onederland last Sunday (3/27)! I'm so excited, this has been a very important goal I've been working toward since I started my weight loss in November! I even got down to 196 at one point this week0

57 to 199 .. joined a weight loss challenge at work. I am type2 also and really need to get my blood sugars under control and this weight off. I work for 11 specialists. One is my gastro/liver doc and he wants me to get 10% of my weight off "like yesterday!" already. 2nd weigh in is tomorrow - making sure I get all my water in today. Working on no more than 60 carbs a day, 15 at breakfast, no more than 30 at lunch, 15 for dinner .. higher lean proteins, no processed foods, no processed sugar of any kind. I'm a little grumpy but it'll pass. Now that the weather here in Alaska is getting nice I can get out and walk my dogs more often. I broke my left foot walking them last summer .. darned weenie dogs are so easily tripped over!!! LOL

36 to go!0

I have about 4 lbs to go and I'm psyched to see it happen. Years ago I lost about 60 lbs and I swore I'd never hit 200 again, only to have my weight max out at 249.5. That's what happens when you revert back to the old lifestyle.1

Amazing that I ran across this post today, as I weighed in just this morning at 198 I'm in onederland again. This time around I started in February weighing 214, so I am down 16 pounds. tracking my food and exercise has helped tremendously. I set 20 pound goals at a time, so 4 more to go and then I will set my next 20 pound goal. Small goals seem more attainable to me. Good luck everyone.2

This is the thread I've been searching for! My goal weight is 199.99. I just gotta see the scale tell me that I'm not over 200 pounds again. It's been far too long. Starting around 255 right now, so we'll see how this goes!0

I hopped on my old scale at home randomly one day, and it said 197. I was so excited lol, but my shiny new scale that I bought doesn't say that yet...about an 8 lb difference. So it was bitter sweet....I tried using some hand weights to try and measure a known weight to try and figure out which scale is correct, but don't have enough weights at home for it to register on either scale.
So I'm waiting patiently for me to reach ONEderland on the new scale...ughh! Lol so close but it feels like I've been this close for awhile. Life happened so I've pretty much been maintaining (or gaining/losing the same 2-3 lbs over and over), but am determined to get there soon!0 -

This totally happened to me! I gain like 7lbs with the new scale. Then, months later I thought I was in onederland but really the batteries were dying! I feel you frustration. You can do this it will come. The 20 lbs to onederland took longer! Keep up posted!0 -

Doing it in chunks has worked for me too. I'm next goal is 189, so when I go to the doctor on 4/26, I'm in onederlandin my clothes and shoes!0 -
87 lbs to go, haven't been there since high school. To be honest, my goal is actually 220 lbs (66 to go). Last time I weighed 220, I was quite happy with my fitness level, but we will see when I get to my goal. Congrats everyone, this thread has helped inspire me to ratchet up the effort a bit. Thanks0

19 lbs to go. I should hit Onederland in about 3 months. It's one thing that keeps me motivated every day, knowing that I'm almost there!0
