I don't know who actually gave this quote but I saw this on a motivational picture and it's stuck with me all this time!5 -

^This is so true. Really good.
I also think about something when I am feeling a little blue on my runs: "You may be slow but you are lapping everyone still in bed." Makes me feel better about how far I have come

This is one I like for motivation in general, not only working out but it applies for my journey towards becoming fit and healthy too
The big secret in life is that there is no big secret. Whatever your goal, you can get there if you're willing to work.

On a day that I was being particularly critical of myself, someone posted a comment very similar to this meme. As corny as it sounds, it was actually a game changer for me:

"When you screw up, skip a workout, eat bad foods, or sleep in, it doesn't make you a bad person. It makes you human. Welcome to the club. There's like seven billion of us." It just speaks to me. I am a perfectionist - when I decide to lose weight, I either do great or binge, there was no in between but I am learning than 1 bad day sometimes can't erise all your previous efforts if you pick yourself up right after. I'm only human, bad days are going to happen sometimes!8

I have even used my interpretation to make my own mantra I tell myself when I want to eat something really fattening. I ask myself if it will be worth it in 20 minutes. If I eat this I won't care that I ate it because I will no longer taste it. I will feel guilty but either way in 20 minutes it will be the same either way so I avoid the guilt and pass. Your quote is my quote. I love it! "Three months from now you'll thank yourself"3 -
I love all of these quotes and everyone's contribution! I have SO MANY quotes but this one has stayed the closest to me because it applies to my professional and fitness life:
"You won't get much done if you only Grind on the days you feel Good"
Being human, we all have gone that extra mile to come up with excuses for not going to gym, not eating clean, or saying we'll do it tomorrow, etc. This has been a constant reminder for me to stay on my Grind every.damn.day - whether I'm feeling tired, having a bad day, (or carb depleted lol).
I forget where I saw it or who it was quoted by but there you go. Stay Fit, you beautiful people!1 -
it feels like it will take forever, but the time will pass anyway.3

You're all talk until you've actually done it, but once you've done it no one can change that or take it away from you4 -
My favorite quote is "I just need to get off my *kitten* and do it."
Whether it's exercising, preparing a healthy meal or anything else, it applies.2
